Christianity had wealth and power to sway some but many were forced into it. Read about Goa and how the Portuguese converted and killed Hindus. Islam came with a sword and killed, looted and raped the people and the country. I think you should make more of such videos in order to open up the eyes and educate many ignorant Hindus of Bharath. Both Islam and Christianity are obsessed with religious conversions all over the world, the former with threat and violence and the latter with threat and bribery. Many hapless and weak minded Hindus do succumb to this kind of tactics and as result today we find these two religions spreading like wild fire throughout India. While you were explaining the Portuguese conquest I remember one famous fight by another RANI ABBAKKA CHOWTA. She was ruling a small hamlet called ULLAL near Mangalore close to the Arabian Sea.. Portuguese thought it was a cakewalk for them to conquer and initially underestimated it. But the entire Portuguese military had to be used to fight with this fierce RANI ABBAKA even then they got defeated. Around 2000 Portuguese soldiers died in that fight by pure Guerrilla warfare which RANI and her Army were experts at. How many of us Indians know about this great RANI ?. We study small things from Mugal rule like DIN IYALI etc.. in school and not RANI ABBAKKA. Very sad

We are said to forget the history so that more hindus can be converted, and the culprits can be depicted as innocent peaceful guys. Despite being a born Christian, I have been experiencing torture by the church of both protestant ( followers of British king hentry the 8th, believers in non idol warshipping ) and catholic ( followers of Roman Empire, constentine noble, believers in idol warshipping ) for the simple reason that I respect and follow hindu religion. In an organized way the church has indirectly filed dowry case, maintenance case resulting in the breaking up of my family. As an individual it is very difficult to counter them. They never bother about Indian laws. There has to be forums to redress the grivences of such individuals like me.

There are no apologies required for a time when war was normal. It was an age of discovery and exploration, and people were fighting to conquer each other land . If people were forced to convert, they would have never stayed in their faiths. However no such incidents have happened and the people still share a close relation with the Portuguese culture. Do you know why Sati pratha started in India? It is not in our roots. It's not written in any of our scriptures. RSS is seva sangh and they don't cause problems to other people. Sati pratha started coz the Mughals killed people and they use to take their wives as slaves. In order to avoid that, the sati pratha started and then continued. No one wants you'll to convert back as Hinduism doesn't have this conversion practice. Being aware of the history and talking about it doesn't spread hatred unless one is a religious fanatic. Once my son was sick for a week, one of the neighbors who was Christian asked us to pray for their jesus, but we refused cause i love to be hindu. This is one of their tactic, they hunt for family with sickment or in hospitals and offer to pray and also offer some small amount of money sometimes, ranging from 1000 to 5000 . its a 50/50 chance if the patient recovers then they capture them and make them believe. also offer money for conversion. Yday i met a guy whose father was injured and one of his neihbour did the same thing and they got emotional and got converted. Hinduism is only religion that doesnot convert, its the only religion that teaches equality, it the only religion that doesnot force any one to go to temple on particular day, its the only religion that does not give brain washing session in temple, the pujari recites slokas and gives over offerings. And it has so much history. Its sad to see people leaving it for sake of some small time money. If Christianity is so great then why hunt and convert and bribe....Just asking.
This is half information. My ancestors who were Hindus didn't run they fought, and perhaps they were the first ones to fight European people in India. Go check 'Cuncolim revolt'. They were brutally crushed by the Portuguese for trying to fight them. Way later some of us turned christians, maybe cuz of force or maybe cuz our ancestors chose it. Don't hate on the converted for the acts of the converter. Today I accept the religion I'm born into and I respect other religions as well.
@@rohithm63 your absolutely wrong. Christianity doesn't teach hate against other religions. We aren't ordered to kill non believers or athiests, that is the teachings of the other religion. We are ordered to serve and respect every human, weather they are christians, or other religions, the only rule we have is believe in Jesus as the Savior. We aren't commanded to make others forcefully believe that. What set's us apart from the Jews and Islam is the new testiment. Christianity started as a small religion that was persecuted all our first followers were executed in horrible manner. Only after Islam started conquering the world and started slaughtering us the church finally joined hands with the Kings and got aggressive and managed to throw out the Islamic conquerors. After this they got blinded by their new power and started conquering and doing similar things islamists did. They started referring to the old testament of the Bible. And they completely disregarded the new teaching of the new testament.

@@rishi2791 yeah in my comment I have written they might have been converted forcefully. And the church was wrong to do that. But relegion is something your born into. Very few, almost miniscule amount of people change religion when in their life. For most people the religion they are born into feels the right religion. You will feel it yourself. But that is not important. As long as we can live in peace and we respect each other's religion, we're fine that's what Sanatan dharm and Jesus teaches us.

@@amittandi1977 that is the point we never claimed to be a man made religion with a founder, that's the point , Sanatan Dharma has existed since the creation of this universe . Religions on the other hands restrict people to a rule book, divides world into followers and non followers, converts people on the edge of a sword or plain brainwashing and will definitely have an expiry date. And yes we won't lose our Hinduism, by coming to churches or mosques, but Christians and Muslims will go against their religion by accepting prasad from us. Lastly Learn the meaning of Varna. Again playing the blame game. Only one question need to answer is why we ignore the people so much nither give them recognition nor respect. Once we loose our following to someone else then our time begins to play the victim card. Hope we can be more proactctive then reactive towards these cultural topics. arre baba, it was political colonisation. all colonizers did use religion as a crutch. had indians colonized, they would have done that too. any way nobody is doing it today, so it is an irrelevant topic... unless you play the hypocrite, rather focussing on other religions to hide the atrocities committed by Hindus on fellow Hindus of the lower caste.
