I want you guys to interview about the socio-political fight that took place back in 2017 in an Indian state called Tripura and how the indigenous people are a minority there and the illegal entry of people from Bangladesh and the state government giving them fake adhar card also the controversy surrounding the changing of names of various places to the names of bengali poets etc from the King's name when they have nothing to do with the state's history no one except the people living there know about this but it has really gotten serious over the years, the history is being slowly rewritten behind the scenes, the indigenous culture and history is in danger of being erased forever
Asian Boss thank u so much asian boss for bringing this awesome video! as a christian who is indian I think its very important for other indians and outsiders in general to know that this is a problem
Bruh I studied in a Christian school , it never felt like a Christian school . Our principal ( father ) beat everyone equally regardless of religion 😑.
Have you ever heard about the religion Zoroastrianism , if not please try to do some research on its inception story . Unless you don't have inherent hate towards other religion and people , you are good to be in your religion . But if your religion does says to hate and kill others and non believers , then You have some problem there . So being a Hindu , I do not need to change my religion to respect other religions , and just because of not being a believer of so-and-so religion, if i am going to hell , then i do not have a problem with that .
Lols ... Hope you are done with your daily quota of venom spitting . Its clear that you do not know the demography of Kerala at all ,St Thomas came to Kerala @52 AD and established Christianity here, even after almost 2000 years ,and having to gone through colonial invasion in between, our Christian population is only 19% of the the total population India's very first Islamic Mosque was built in Kerala , that too in 629 AD even before Islam was a thing in Arabia, and after 1400+ years and having to gone through Tipu Sultans invasion in between, still its only 25% of our entire population . So if you are expecting to see a rapid rate of conversion to any religion with in this state , you are probably living in a bubble of religious extremism , and i am sorry to burst that bubble .
To all , who are wondering about the last 3 comments from me, it was done as a reply to a religious fanatic , who was trying trigger me with his threatening and religious extremism . But , as always if you try to maintain your calm and reply with pure facts, they will shamelessly delete their comments and will run to their safe place. So Mr RAJAT MAZUMDER, hope you have find peace at your safe place .
I'm Indian Christian too. and in my whole class I'm the only Christian and they are so nice to me ,people rarely talk about religion also my bestie is Hindu so we are fine .
I am a Christian. This is my country. I feel so much loved here. My hindu brothers and sisters are so so good to us. Disheartening things happen, but not everyone is like that. Whenever we have Christmas, they celebrate with us. Whenever they have Diwali, we celebrate it with them. Conversion is stupid. Anyone who wants to be a Christian could be one on his own. We don't have to tell someone. That is so annoying. India has loved us the same. I feel more than safe. All I know is that when needed, we will protect our Hindu brothers and sisters like our own. ♥️♥️
@varkey42 I am a Hindu from northeast my Delhi friends make fun of me by calling me Chinese some time but its not a discrimination because they are my friends they accept me as I am so this applys to u 2.
Well me being a Christian and a guy from northeast India...i feel lucky to be an INDIAN. Our nation is a secular state and no such cases in northeast india...Jai hind!! Edit - i know what seems now a situation that happened in northeast, but it's a bit more of an actually an ethnic issue rather than religious, when u understand the sensitivity of their identity and culture topic , then u may know what might have happened there?
In our country India studying in Convent school is considered a very big thing. I have not met anyone irrespective of religion who has not gone to a convent school.
Im a Christian from Kerala and these incidents are so rare and India is and always is a wonderful country without any bias towards us. This video is just negative press against Indian I feel
I'm a Christian living in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. To be honest, I have never faced any discrimination on the basis of religion. My hindu and muslim friends are like my brothers and sisters........ and so I'm extremely happy to be born here.........
I am an Indian from West India. Even here we regardless of religion are United. Even my neubours who are Hindu visit Church during festivals and feasts even I visit them during their festivals. During Diwali they give us sweets and during Christmas we give them. Even my one non catholic friend has the images of both Krishna and Jeasus in their house they believe in both. I have many Chatolic and non Chatolic friends but we see each other only as INDIANS 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳💕💕✝️☪️🕉🕎☸✡.

You should actually travel to states like Kerala, Goa & Tamil Nadu where there are significant number of Christians. They'd give a better idea of Indian Christianity and what it's like. They'd been there for centuries, they have deep Indian roots & they have a culture of their own which is distinct from Western Christianity
Hi bro! Indian Christian's, Muslims etc. are Indians only who accept those religious. How will Indians have different cultures and how will we follow western culture?!!!. We can change our religion but never our culture that's why we have the same culture because we are the same, we, you and us all Indians share the same ansisters the same blood. Religion can change but never the blood.
@@Aditi-mb3qm I'll disagree as a Catholic Goan, newer Christians tend to distance from Indian culture fully, while older communities (Malabar Catholics, Goan Roman Catholics) still have Indian tradition involved in some form or the other, like cultural dances or some wedding traditions
@@Aditi-mb3qm it's fact that ancient Christian communities in India are far more integrated into larger Indian culture. New converts are a result of Modern American missionaries who are too aggressive and even extremist at times. I felt disgusted looking at the way the way they're being brainwashed into a cult. It's a similar phenomena across many Asian countries.
Kerala has the highest Christian population out of all states in India. Most of the Christians are living in the districts of South Kerala. Ernakulam district has the highest Christian population in Kerala but in the district, Hindus and Christians live together peacefully together. Kottayam district also has many Christians. Christianity came to Kerala even before it came to the shores of Europe. Christians are living here, with the Hindus, for more than 2000 years.

I am studying in Christian College. Here our principal (sister) never discriminate us on the basis of religion. Even our college celebrates every festival like diwali holi etc. With full of enthusiasm. I never felt like I'm different from them.
I'm a christian from India, and I must comment before I even watch this video. I LOVE INDIA and India loves me. I don't see myself as a minority at all, hindus are my brothers and sisters, my mother and father, and I am a Hindu too. Hinduism is my culture, it's the color of my soul, the blood in my veins. Anyone who attacks hindus also attacks me, that is how i feel. Anyone who tries to make me feel separate from India is my enemy.
Bruce V if you say that then your are not a Christian... because Jesus said the one who follow me is my mother my brother my sister not A Hindu who follows some other gods!!!
Good for you. Your roots are in hinduism as are many hindu converts lead by lies from Christian missionaries. Hope you return back to the beautiful and rich hinduism.
Kaushik Sonowal Jesus is love , Jesus is peace . Those who love and spread peace are his brothers and sisters irrespective of religion. You're so full of hate that you want to divide everyone. Shame. I'm a Hindu (by culture) and a Christian(by faith) both and I'm extremely proud of the fact that I am. People of your type are so bent on destroying this beautiful bond we share since millenniums !
Come to India. I am Indian Catholic, very proud Indian. Love my Hindu brothers and sisters. They are not like Pakistani Muslims who frame you in blasphemy laws.
My teacher is from India for a while I thought she was Muslim but then she said she was Christian. However she said hen she lived in India she had a lot of Muslim Hindu atheist and Christian friends. She said the people there weren’t divided because of their faith I thought that was really nice but it’s probably certain areas where all religions can do exist peacefully
Niska Mo as a Indian I can tell you overall in India there is a very high level of religious, communal harmony here expect some incident.overall our society is very secular and by constitution also We don't have any state religion and it is clearly stated that it is secular State.
She is right. Communal riots are rare. The only issue is we have a population of 1.3 billion and counting even a small percentage seems huge because of that. I hope people know that India in general is very much open for every religion. Vasudeva Kutumbakam Peace ☮️
Honestly no one really cares that much about religion, here. I am an athiest living in a hindu family and we celebrate christmas just for the fun of it...the political parties though, we have a right wing party currently in power and they do tend to favour hindus imo

I remember asking an Indian owner of a favorite gas station at Christmas time what holiday does he celebrate in his religion. He said Christmas of course as I am a Christian. He laughed at the shock look on my face and said Christianity existed in India even before it did in Rome. So much for my limited view of the world.
that's only because early romans prosecuted christians and some fled all the way to india. but yeah techincally it was in rome just not accepted.(don't qoute me tho). but yeah there was christians in india before the roman chatolic church if that was what he was referring to.
From what I could research St. Thomas is believed to have baptized early christians in the port of Kerala India in AD 52. So wouldn't that be before Rome? Makes for an interesting discussion to be sure.
If you are referring to Thomas of Cana he led the Syriac Christians away from the middle east to india. some of the fleeing christians i was referring too were led in part by him. If you are speaking of Thomas the Apostle, He had converted northern indians to christianity while thomas of cana is known for the south/kerala. Ancient rome is before christ, however the roman catholic christians did come after the other christians however the pope and the roman catholic church is the leader of most/all catholics. Including any indian ones.
Most of the historians doesn't agree with the st.thoma story..but agrees with the Syrian people, merchants, who came to Kerala ...the real conversion began during Portuguese period...where many people were killed..for resisting...The state of kerala has the most number of cristians comprising 20% of population...

As a Christian ,let me inform you Hinduism is not against Jesus Christ. Infact many great Indian sages have admired and even worshipped Jesus. For example let me quote the internationally famous Swami Vivekananda who states this "*Had I lived in Palestine, in the days of Jesus of Nazareth, I would have washed his feet, not with my tears, but with my heart's blood!* " Hinduism is v v inclusive and Hindus are the most flexible i.e. they have no problem in attending church as they don't believe in heaven or hell only karma and recognise that good can be found everywhere. So where is the problem. This is NOT due to the catholic church as the girl rightly mentioned it takes nearly a year for a person to enter the catholic faith . The reason is 2 fold 1. Protestant denominations going about insulting the Hindu deities, 2. Insecurity among right wing hindus about loosing followers to Christianity.
Why is idol worship such a powerful temptation? Ultimately, the answer to this question is “sin.” It is the sin nature of man that causes us to worship modern idols, all of which are, in reality, forms of self-worship. The temptation to worship ourselves in various ways is a powerful temptation indeed. In fact, it is so powerful that only those who belong to Christ and have the Holy Spirit within them can possibly hope to resist the temptation of modern idolatry. Even then, resisting the worship of idols is a lifelong battle that is part of the Christian life (Ephesians 6:11; 1 Timothy 6:12; 2 Timothy 2:3). When we hear the word idol, we often think of statues and objects reminiscent of those worshipped by pagans in ancient cultures. However, the idols of the 21st century often bear no resemblance to the artifacts used thousands of years ago. Today, many have replaced the “golden calf” with an insatiable drive for money or prestige or "success" in the eyes of the world. Some pursue the high regard of others as their ultimate goal. Some seek after comfort or a myriad of other passionate, yet empty, pursuits. Sadly, our societies often admire those serving such idols. In the end, however, it doesn’t matter what empty pleasure we chase after or what idol or which false god we bow down to; the result is the same-separation from the one true God. Understanding contemporary idols can help us to understand why they prove to be such a powerful temptation. An idol can be anything we place ahead of God in our lives, anything that takes God’s place in our hearts, such as possessions, careers, relationships, hobbies, sports, entertainment, goals, greed, addictions to alcohol/drugs/gambling/pornography, etc. Some of the things we idolize are clearly sinful. But many of the things we idolize can be very good, such as relationships or careers. Yet Scripture tells us that, whatever we do, we are to “do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31) and that we are to serve God only (Deuteronomy 6:13; Luke 16:13). Unfortunately, God is often shoved out of the way as we zealously pursue our idols. Worse yet, the significant amount of time we often spend in these idolatrous pursuits leaves us with little or no time to spend with the Lord. We sometimes also turn to idols seeking solace from the hardships of life and the turmoil present in our world. Addictive behaviors such as drug or alcohol use, or even something like excessive reading or television viewing, may be used as a means of temporarily “escaping” a difficult situation or the rigors of daily life. The psalmist, however, tells us that those who place their trust in this behavior will, essentially, become spiritually useless (Psalm 115:8). We need to place our trust in the Lord “who will keep [us] from all harm” (Psalm 121:7) and who has promised to supply all of our needs when we trust in Him. We also need to remember the words of Paul, who teaches us not to be anxious about anything, but rather to pray about everything so the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, can guard our hearts and our minds (Philippians 4:6-7). There is another form of idolatry prevalent today. Its growth is fostered by cultures that continue to drift away from sound biblical teaching, just as the apostle Paul warned us, “For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine” (2 Timothy 4:3). In these pluralistic, liberal times, many cultures have, to a large degree, redefined God. We have forsaken the God revealed to us in Scripture and have recast Him to comply with our own inclinations and desires-a “kinder and gentler” god who is infinitely more tolerant than the One revealed in Scripture. One who is less demanding and less judgmental and who will tolerate many lifestyles without placing guilt on anyone’s shoulders. As this idolatry is propagated by churches around the world, many congregants believe they are worshipping the one, true God. However, these made-over gods are created by man, and to worship them is to worship idols. Worshipping a god of one’s own making is particularly tempting for many whose habits and lifestyles and drives and desires are not in harmony with Scripture. The things of this world will never fully satisfy the human heart. They were never meant to. The sinful things deceive us and ultimately lead only to death (Romans 6:23). The good things of this world are gifts from God, meant to be enjoyed with a thankful heart, in submission to Him and for His glory. But when the gift replaces the Giver or the created replaces the Creator in our lives, we have fallen into idolatry. And no idol can infuse our lives with meaning or worth or give us eternal hope. As Solomon beautifully conveys in the book of Ecclesiastes, apart from a right relationship with God, life is futile. We were created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27) and designed to worship and glorify Him as He alone is worthy of our worship. God has placed “eternity in man’s heart” (Ecclesiastes 3:11), and a relationship with Jesus Christ is the only way to fulfill this longing for eternal life. All of our idolatrous pursuits will leave us empty, unsatisfied, and, ultimately, on the broad road that most people take, the one that leads to destruction (Matthew 7:13).

Next Time :- What it's like Being Hindu in other countries (especially in Muslim countries) Edit:- Not only in muslim countries, in their own so called Secular country, like living in West Bengal rn🙂☠️
In India itself we (Hindus) face discrimination based on religion. Libtards and libtard media will never highlight discriminations on hindus. If we voice out, we will be called as andhbhakts or extremists.
Many institutes and schools in India are run by Christan missionaries, myself went to the convent and there are many Hindu parents would send their kids to Christian Schools for better education. Growing up I was very much influenced by Christianity and I always use to do prayers visit church etc. In retrospect if I think about it I was a manipulated 10 years old. and all i wanted was a rational education instead of religious teachings. Years may come and go we all are Indians and Hinduism is our root ancient culture for thousand years. By the way, I don't see Hinduism as a religion but I see it as a way of living, our ancestors always Loved nd respected other religions otherwise we would have not seen many religions living in India and we don't see this openness in other culture. Respect for all 🙏
Wrong. Hinduism is construct by British. They created it by explicitly naming a religion so during registry. Before that people followed different religions or gods.
In India teaching a child below 14 about a religion not his is not legal or lawful below i am from.a catholic school i am a hindu and the school was St Xavier's so by name u can get the aspect they didn't allowed us to wear rakhis if we wear lockets or stones they fined us heavily and also we celebrated Christmas with grandeur but can't say the same for our festivals ..they sang hymns etc and recitated from Bible at the beginning and ending of the day ...seems kinda provoking to me
INDIAN EMPIRE REBORN But our Christian missionary school in Guwahati, Assam is different they celebrate Christmas but also Saraswati puja inside the campus. We have a church also. I think some Christians are radicals.
Please note that.. There is no extra privileges for those who are minority.. It is only for the backward classes and for women that some privileges are given to them
In India everyone is a minority. There is no person in our country who is majority in the Country , State, his lane May it be in language or religion or anything. Because India is a land of minority not a single person in India is majority
@@Judah_889 We aren't brainwashed. I go to Church and Mandir as well. Even Muslims celebrate with us. I hate religious people. Everyone should become secular. Don't blindly believe in religion.
In my school there are rarely any Christian but my school is decorated like heaven during Christmas and Easter.❤️🥺. Edit. I also live in Uttar pradesh 😂
SUCH HOCUS POCUS & MUMBO JUMBO IS BEST UNDERSTOOD AS "CHRISTIAN SUPERSTITION & BLIND FAITH." AMAZING THAT THE BLIND ARE LEADING THE BLIND, IN THE ERA OF SCIENCE & RATIONALITY.
This interview is focused only on one particular incident in one state of India... So don't generalise it as an issue for Christians in India as a whole. India is a huge country with 29 states which are quite diverse from each other.
Weaver Bird this video comes across as it is widespread across whole of India n such incidents happen frequently not rarely...which is untrue. This is my point here.
What you're saying is fair but this is certainly not an isolated incident. Religious persecution is an ongoing issue in India, mainly with Christians, as well as attacks on Muslims. Religious equality is definitely something India can work on. It's a beautiful country but persecution is a national problem.
Johanna Caba can you name one other country where the majority community is as tolerant towards other religions as hindus are in India? Look at the percentage not numbers vis a vis the total population figures.
Hey Christmas is arriving 😆!! I celebrate Diwali I celebrate Christmas I celebrate Lori Bcoz I live in India. India has no. Of national holiday another other country. This states that we live with secularism I'm a orthodox Hindu But first I'm a *INDIAN*
@@saketadarsh7606 China is dominated by buddhism and 57% people there don't follow any specific religion, that why they are get developed day by day, cause' there's no other controversial religion to argue for. Religion is not a problem in China,Japan, north Korea
There are so many chritians convent school in india, where every child want to study. I never seen any Sanction on chritianity. I live in rural area in north india, chritian hold second mojority in my area, they celebrate what ever they want morover they also celebrate our religion festivals. India is so diverse only indians can understand
So what there are many Christians who study on hindu majority CBSE and ICSE schools. What about that like K.V where free education is got to girl child from any religious group.
@@apappyfizz4826 majority of the icse schools in Kerala are Christian convent school's , and I think you have either forgotten or didn't really know that icse in actual is the board of Anglo Indian's(a Christian community)
I am a christian too from kerala, india. There is no discrimination on the basis of religion here and y the fk are you trying to convert people to christianity because to me Hinduism is Far better than every abrahamic religion there is.
My friend is Christian but I never had feeling of religious diff,we lived like an indian, But as I grew old,I get to know & also noticed Christian conversion by NGOs funded by west countries, We love Christian not Christian conversion, Now a days Church Bishops are openly supporting anti-hindu political parties, these are the reason why Christian conversion groups might being targeted at some places !
In Nepal the time 8.7 magnitude of earth quake hit in 2015, Christian Missouri were distributing Bible for Food. I don’t mean all Christian did it but it happened.
Moon walk when I was a student & had visited a sahitya sammelan (literature festival) in Mumbai, two people came to me & gave me a book for free. Later I realized it was Bible & they were missionaries.
Suyog Parab same thing happened with me they handed me an copy of bible in Assamese but i enjoyed reading that bible. I don't believe in forcefull conversation.
When they are in a minority they act scared and liberal. When they are in a majority like in Fiji, they do a coup and treat Hindus like second class citizens without similar rights. Christians in India not only have same rights as any others but also have minority quotas and stuff in many colleges of India. The earlier government also promoted Christian conversions so they can build their votebank.
@@nishant4sc my point was every community* changes according to whether they are in majority or minority. Christianity is a vast religion. If Christians of some other country are desriminating against Indians (or Hindus ac to the comment) than why you gotta generalise and treat our own fellow citizens who happen to be of the same faith like that.
mumbai3008 Ohhh god so true!!! We’re living in a strange country where the majority people have less freedom than minority. Even after that they are slammed for almost everything.
Khyati T that is not true! Have you ever even been in a mere company of a person of minority? The majority has all the freedom in the world that's whythey get away a with lynching and murder.
I don't know if any will see this but I am so happy that the second largest nation is a secular and democratic state ! sure india might not be sunshine and rainbow but at least it's people are free and supportive of each other's ! Eternal respect from france to India 🇫🇷❤️🇮🇳
i am a hindu..i do celebrate all christian festivals, our calendar us gregorian too..but christian shld stop their proselytizing tendencies...they are creating radicals in the society..in my housing society some neo-converts are rabid radicals..previously he used to come and celebrate and donate in ganesha celebration..now he calls my gods as "satan"..he even refuses to take temple sweets as he has been "preached gospel" like that..and u know what in 1947 when india was just free out of 29 states..more than 5 state has been converted from 4-5% to now more than 90%..and u know what they are rabid one..u cant take out a procession with hindu god idol in those states..the christianity in india has to indianise and not call hindu and other gods as satan and hate idol worship etc..other than that we have no problem,my kids go to missionary school are made to sing songs fr jesus but she cant go to school with "hindu attire"(vermilion on head, heena etc)..some are fined..on many hindu festivals there is no holiday let alone celebrating it...
I am Christian and I agree with you brother, some of them are radicals and they should respect native religions, I don't ask people to convert or evangelize and I respect other religion, I hope you are safe and your community well, good luck to you :)
I'm a Hindu, I love Muslims, Christians and every other religion. We are living happily, we celebrate diwali, Eid and Christmas. Don't spread any king of myth. 🙏🙏🙏
oh please!!! I have never celebrated Eid. Specially in kolkata. christmas we celebrate every year. Never been to a Mosque but been to Church many times.
IN Comment section Non Indian christians- India is intolerant Most Indian christians- India is very tolerant,we are happy here.. Non Indian christians- you are not a Christian..
That's because commentors are also from different regions. Different regions and states has completely different attitude. Religious atrocoties based problem is more prevalent in north.
4:40 :- That guy in the specs melted my heart by saying this... It is true that India has always been a peaceful nation and matter of fact it has never waged war or invaded any other country in its long history... It is only the extremist or detractors that cause such chaos and nusance of consciousness and peace from time to time ✌️🙏
