Dale you have an excellent brilliant business mind. No business get off on a smooth ride. The beginnings of a business is always the hardest, the rough part of business. But if you stick with it, at the end of the road there is always profit.

Proud of what you and your team accomplished in the farming investment. Stepping out of your comfort zone gave you the chance to see Ghana up close and personal. Most West Africans face these challenges day in and day out. You are truly experiencing The MotherLand. Live and Enjoy Life!

It will be good to fly to Tamale and continue from there on the road.

Need to know, & even if possible have pictures showing the condition of the road from various parts to give an idea if tarred/untarred. If not, those dirt tracks going to certain remote areas may turn out to be nearly unnavigable. Also better have a safe & dependable means of transport from Tamale, secured before embarking on such a trip with an itinerary.

THAT IS A LOTS OF YAMS. I JUST PAID AROUND 10 USD FOR ONE LITTLE PIECE HERE IN THE EU, Specifically Denmark. The trotros are meant for short distances travel. They are NOT safe for long distances, and also careless driving, dangerous overtakings with tired drivers and over crowding with no space to stretch your legs for such a long distance. The STC is one of the safest for the long distances. And has been there since the 60s, by the government, with good careful drivers. Still can not believe you use trotro for such a long distance.

I’m only 3/4 way through your video documenting your perilous travels to & from the Oti region, & I could not help but laugh at various points in your narration of events. That was a baptism into hardcore roots life in remote parts of the country. BTW I did my share a couple of decades ago in the Gonja district, so I fully appreciate the travails of this experience.

Good video. Do you know that yam could make better bread than wheat? The goal here is to turn yam into flour for all flour based food products.

Safe journeys while in Ghana, West Africa. Unfortunately the current government of Ghana for the past 8yrs is the worst in the history of Ghana, the economy cannot withstand due to high inflation. Instead of them focusing on improving the economy/national infrastructures they are busy disenfranchising/discriminating against some ethnic tribes near the Togo Border with Ghana, a very clueless government whom are bent on rigging the next presidential elections to hold onto power but due to their bad reputation of divide and conquer with the help of western nations in eUROPE and the US most Ghanaians are becoming awakened to the treacherous ways of this current government, they have lost all priorities to serving the nation and its people, with governments like this things such Pan-Africanism and smooth trades in a future borderless Africa cannot happen quick enough with puppets and sell-outs like this current administration. Again safe travels while in Ghana, and thanks for the video.

These yams are small in size . I can see that yams are getting progressively smaller over the years so I don't know about the land being fertile . When I was growing up in the 80s yams typically would be about 2/ 3 feet long and much thicker . Also if It is this difficult just to get into this area how do you transport the yams out to the people who would buy , to make this a profitable business ?

Jail....! Naah not in Ghana, for filming a police officer. Unless, there's a notice forbidding filming. Well over 4 decades learning about the deficit between production to storage and to distribution, yet very little has been done. Road infrastructural linking key agricultural areas should be the priority of the government. This will inevitably help ease the pressure on importation, helping reduce the stress on the currency. This is the real challenges + many affecting the development of Africa. It's soo annoying, when they spend millions on elections, whiles, the actual issues are left unattended. This is scary, the level of common sense appears not common to the leaders.
