I'm continuously intrigued by your top-notch attention to detail on the finer items of installation, like construction adhesive in the joist hangers, and other areas where you pay great attention to detail. Very much enjoying the build, keep it up!
Thank you very much! We appreciate it. It's one of the reasons we started this build. The difference between the "love" you give something that's yours and something that isn't.
Great video! I can't believe she left you there to work by yourself! My goodness! No big stretch under that sill plate though??? Man that's just wrong lol! 😅
Haha, thank you! We wanted to use Sashco products but couldn't find explicitly that it would work with rubber, while DAP did say it. Also, we didn't know Sashco too well at the time. But now we know and would definitely use it in the future!
Hello Hector and Marcela! Was so happy my suggestion helped and saved you time, the shoutout was nice to hear as well. Looking forward to the new season.
Some people from other places in the country have mentioned it. In our case the engineer specified ram-setting at a given spacing. To be honest Ramsets are very strong! We've made mistakes and tried to remove them and it's very very hard to do so. When we made a mistake we had to cut the wood and grind the nail off. Even the nails seem to be built stronger.
