3:40 Well Yeah, hunting in the snow is great if you're literally indoors. 😄 I personally much prefer it not to be snowing while on stand. I just don't know what my bow will do with snow collected on it, and it's a pain to constantly brush it off to be ready to shoot.

Beautiful video... the magnificent colors of the scenery... I kept thinking of poor Bambi from the movie during the entire video... yet I know of the great meat you'll reap from capturing a great buck. I finally got to see from your video what it is that drives my neighbor out alone early in the morning of hunting seasons to sit in a field stand. I get it now. Thank you and hope you post another video.... my biggest question is... after you capture a buck how to do you get it to your truck?

Thanks for the support. Sometimes we can get the truck to the deer, other times we have to drag the deer a ways and other times still we use an ATV to transport the deer back to the truck. Whatever it takes. Have a great day. - Bill

A buck walks by with 16 inch points. You let him walk at 15 yards. You say he was a 3 years old. He was to young. If another buck walks by with 16 points. He is 2 foot wide. However, he is only 2 years old. Would you shoot him? My point is, if you would shoot him? What does how old a deer is, - have to do with being a good buck to shoot? Bucks naturally grow only 8 10 and 12 points on their racks. So what the heck does his age have to do with it?

I dont know why but when they explain why they named a deer what they did bothers me. Not sure why name all these deer kinda weird

Anyone else notice he tagged the deer wrong? Dont split that tag. Whole thing goes on it.

In Iowa you split the tag. Big part on the antlers and the small part on on the leg. If it is doe, split it and both parts go on the legs. -Bill

I see on my internet someone called this deer a stud, sorry fella it is a buck. A stud is a male horse. Buck is a deer, bulls are Elk or male cows.
