Funny as I was there Thanksgiving Day in the same areas but then rolled North to Bishop. Tried to go up switchbacks on Coyote Flats but my passenger freaked out. So didn’t get all the way up. But, gorgeous area!!! Ever in Arizona look me up.

I travel the 395 quite often and have always wanted to make the stop at Alabama Hills just never have, especially now that camping spots are few and far between. Someday! What is the black liner you use on the inside of your freedom top? I'd like something like that for the inside of mine for my stickers.
Alabama Hills is definitely worth the effort. Most of the spots are “epic” when compared to other places. It’s just that the best Alabama Hills spots are now day use only. You should stay there at least once. You won’t be disappointed. The black liner you mentioned is a carpet like headliner from Mopar. It helps with sound deadening and temperature regulation. I bought it so I could attach and display my Velcro patches. I’m not sure how you could attach stickers.
@@arrowheadoverland I will definitely prioritize a stay in the Hills and very cool about the liner, I thought those were stickers but patches are even better!
