To anyone who wants to know what power IC part number is. It is S2MPS15A0. In some cases problem is not IC, but one of the tiny capacitors next to it having a complete short.

Nice, so professional like always. Top skill. I've a similar problem in a S5 and Note 4 Edge. I connect charger, try to charge.. stop.. stry to charge stop.... always. I test the volts with a tester in the battery conectors pins, and voltage are crazy, goes up ... down to zero... goes up... The problem is that this case, the Power IC? or the Charging IC, the smaller at bottom side of the board?

Great video, I replaced power ic also, but after repair I got signal drop, no network during few seconds, after full network signal again, when I start a call maybe it rings once and after drops signal. Can you help with a professional answer? Thanks in advance.

hey my charging cable got damaged when plugged in phone flashed screen went black wouldnt fast charge then replaced charging port still wont fast charge do you think power ic is shot thanks any info would be greatly appreciated
sir . my s6 edge only turn on usb. it only show battry 100% and sometimes it boot normally(on usb only accept 5v 1A charger) . when I unplug the usb it just turn off. what could it be?

I left my Samsung S6 on charger for 10 hours and couldn't start it after. So I thought my battery (it's was in bad condition overall) was dead. So I replaced it with new battery, when I start the phone, only light blue LED gets turned on- solid. (when I try with old battery, it doesn't even start blue LED - so old is probably dead). When I put it on charger, nothing happens. (I tried everything - power but+home+vol up/down, all combinations, etc., nothing works) What could be the problem?
@@AliRaza-vc5uu I bought new Power integrated circuit to see if it fixes it, but still lazy to try to change it, then when I wanted to, I found out that new battery has blown out (filled with air to a bubble), so I have to buy another new battery if I want to try to fix it with Power IC.
guys,i got an s6 edge and it needs 6 hours until full charge i tryed all common solution like changing cable and the whole charger with another original one but still same,when i checked the setting i found the fast charging option turned on and when i connected the charger it auto off and no ability to turn it again until i take out the charger,could anyone help me or suggest me to do something please?

My s6 works if i have it plugged in to the charger it turns on and works but dispalys 0% on the battery , but if i disconnect it from he charger then it turns off automatically batter alwas says 0% and wont turn on if i is not plugged into he charger
