As a child of exiled parents, I've known this all my life. The "Mandela" who walked out of Victor Verster, was not the real Mandela. To the young ones, for them to understand our pains on the land issue, let me share my pain: My family was removed from their land in a place called Danhouser in KZN Amajuba district, in 1969, to give way to coal mining in the land for free. In 2006, we bought a small abandoned mining house near the gate of the Durnacol mine, that's where our home stead was in our land. The place still has 1969 ashes where it used to be the kitchen. My father's brother, took us on a tour of painful memories and at the same time remembering his good growing up memories. We are still alive as the rightful owners but the possessors are not prepared to return the land not mentioning to also justly compensate for gains from it. For 30 years nothing has been finalised, thus the pain remains. Our tears go to God Almighty, that one day He remembers us.
Politicians do not care how they are playing with human lives, none of them care about the public,while many pretend that they do, but as soon as they come into power, they change their story.
