I've had my eye on the Saatva, but now it looks like the Winkbed checks more boxes on my list! I'm a side sleeper with spinal issues and hot flashes. But LORDT! That $300 more for the Winkbed almost took me out! I wish for a Winkbed!

I had a Saatva Latex Hybrid. Too firm. Exchanged it for the Saatva Classic Plush Soft. I'm a side sleeper. This bed is perfect. Plush soft is not super soft, it is just right. Very good support. I'd take that order the luxury firm Classic. Also, Saatva beds are built better and not compressed.

Thanks for the review. I would prefer the Wink bed for my specific needs. The coil on coil construction, tencel cover, zoned support. The ability to provide back and side support without jamming up. This is the one for me.

I hate my Wink soft version. It makes my shoulder stiff (side sleeper) and I barely sleep at all. The company says I have to keep it for 30 days. I tried it another night and my shoulder hurts. I know you have to break a bed in but I've never had a bed that I liked give me soreness and affect my sleep even when new. I guess it will live in my attic until they let me return it. Pretty stupid with their guarantee that I can't send it back now. I am at the point where I can't sleep on it because it makes me so sore it affects my work. I don't have a ton of spare room to keep Split King mattresses stored. Very frustrating.

We love ours, hubby from the second we set it up, but for me it took a couple of weeks of adjusting to it, I thought it might be too firm the first nights of sleeping on it, but now it is wonderful and I don't have a lot of the pain I use to have in the morning. We have the Winkbed in luxury firm and it is ok. Thought it would be more luxurious and pressure relieving. It's a little too firm for me (I'm heavier and a side sleeper) but my partner likes it. I think the micro coils at the top make it firm. I see the 2021 Winkbed does not have the micro coils. Instead, it has gel infused foam and this may make it feel a little softer and pressure relieving IMO.

The fact that these are both innerspring rather than just foam (and memory foam in particular) is impressive for these beds that can be shipped in a box. But, still would prefer latex over memory foam or hyper or gel foam. Micro over support coils sounds like coil overload, but am curious how it would feel.

Wink bed hands down. It’s more plush, offers better pressure relief for side sleeping, it’s more durable and sleeps cooler. This was a no brainer for me.

Unfortunately the video doesn't mention the important fact that the Saatva has a $99 return fee within the return period, while the Winkbed has free returns (like most of the mattresses these day. Also, Winkbeds often has discount codes while Saatva rarely does, which actually can make the Winkbed slightly cheaper in the end. It would have been nice if they mentioned this in the video.

In terms of firmness, these both sound a little too firm for me but if I had to shoose between these two I would choose the Wink Bed. It has the best pressure relief for side sleeping, plus I sleep hot and the Wink is a better cooling mattress.

Wink has a soft version also. It has a 4.5 softness rating out of 10. Basically the euro pillow top is an inch thicker, while everything else is the same.

I would go with Winkbed all the way. I just think its well constructed bed with great support and and overall luxury feel. I would get the soft version since i’m a side sleeper. Winkbed is still one of my top five beds i would get

I had the Saatva Solair bed. The bed was well made and beautiful. I loved the construction of it but the air bed itself was disappointing. It was fine until I needed to change to a lower setting which after doing so could not tell the difference in the firmness and at a really low setting it felt as if I was sinking in a hole. I was going to try the regular coiled bed by them but changed my mind. I retuned it. I am now looking at the Wink bed because I am a side and back sleeper with shoulder and back pain and after watching several videos on the bed have just about made up my mind that the Wink bed should benefit my needs. 🤞🏾

@@jazzyboy7784 I did get the Wink Bed but it too did not work out for me. It was just too hard. My shoulders ached so bad with this bed. I went back to the sleep number bed but even that one I had to tweak. I was just uncomfortable with the cover so I purchased a mattress topper from Ghostbed. It definitely made the difference. It was so different then any other mattress topper I’ve seen or used. It’s 3 inches and has a combination of springs and foam. It was just what I needed and I sleep like a baby now. The fact that I can change the sleep number setting and still feel it with this topper is amazing. Funny I don’t like spring mattresses but this was just enough of what was needed to allow me to be comfortable both on my back and on my sides. Sometimes I don’t want to get up. I’m very happy 3 beds later. I also found the perfect pillow for me. No more neck pain. This took years to find. My family thanks me for all the pillows I’ve given them through the years. I now enjoy my Kapillow/Kapok Contour Pillow by White Lotus Home. The absolute Best pillow every made for me. I got the one with the zipper just in case I needed more stuffing (purchased separately), but it has worked out. I’ve wasted lots of money over the years but it finally worked out. I guess that answers your question and then some. 😂😂

I would like some comparisons between the Saatva Latex Hybrid and EcoCloud Wink Bed. Also the Real Bed by Charles P. Rogers and these mattresses. Birch and My Green Mattress are 2 others I have been reviewing. I am a combo stomach/side sleeper. The Real Bed seems to be missing a comfort layer that I would like to have. I am ending my trial period for this bed. I thought perhaps the Talalay Latex instead of Dunlop might afford me this luxury. I am 140 lb 5'5" woman.

This is a good comparison of similar mattresses! Winkbed wins with the slightly cooler sleep, and better pressure relief for side sleeping and slightlylessmotion transfer. I'd probably need to go with a softer mattress regardless.

Hello! I'm 6'1" 280lbs, mainly a side sleeper but sometimes on my stomach too (or in between). Looking to reduce pressure points mainly in shoulders area while on my side. Definitely get lower back pain while sleeping on stomach on mattresses without enough lumbar support. I love your reviews, first off. I have a question though. My husband is about 205 and I'm approx. 127. In your opinion would the WinkBed be a good option? We are both mostly side sleepers, but will occasionally sleep on our backs. We both have back and hip pain. That all being said, if in you opinion the WB would be a good option, would the softer WB be better then the Luxury Firm? Thank you for any help you can provide. Thanks for all your great videos! I’ve been considering the Winkbed luxury firm after failing with the Brentwood home crystal cove. Too soft on the memory foam side and too firm on the latex side. The thing that’s making me hesitant about the Winkbed is my boyfriend has the Saavta luxury firm 14.5 inch mattress. I’m shocked at how many youtubers reviewed this as firmer than average as both my boyfriend amd I think it’s softer than average. I think it’s too soft or maybe I just find it difficult to move back and forth on the Saavta luxury firm. Based on what I’ve told you, do you think the winkbed luxury firm is right for me? I’m 180. Fall asleep on my side and wake up on my back. I hate memory foam and prefer a pillow top feel. I’d like a hybrid. Thanks in advance.

Can you do an update review of the Nest Alexander Signature Hybrid mattress? They made a change with the mattress. You can unzip the cover and change out comfort layers.

ShoppingBunny I do. I have had it for at least 2 months and it is great. Im a bigger guy about 250lb and I got the medium firm. It’s a lot easier to change positions on the hybrid bed then an all foam bed (tried a nectar mattress and did not like it). I don’t sink too far into the mattress (just perfect). Great thing about the Nest ASH mattress is that I can just unzip the cover and change out the comfort layer if I decide I want a softer of firmer bed. So I don’t have to get a whole new bed. I love this bed and I do not plan on returning it. Also it works great on an adjustable frame

I’m going crazy - I’ve slept on nest Alexander signature and I don’t like it. Sleeps hot - for some reason I wake up with my neck hurting. And the edge support is terrible

It's a big bummer that these companies don't have showrooms in at least the nation's top 10 cities. There are too many choices, and not enough ability to trial. The 120 night guarantee is way too much guilt, because they waste those beds if you return them.

I think it's hilarious that across the bed review industry everyone assumes fat people need more support but science would say that's the furthest from the truth. A fat person is round and shaped like a ball and the weight is dispersed more evenly than an athletic person that is bony and sits like a bag of sticks. The pressure points on an athletic person have to be experiencing much more weight in concentrated regions then heavier people
