Welcome to the Swedish History Channel - Sabaton writes all their songs about military events, wars, persons in history without taking sides - they just tell the stories. Be amazed about their history accuracy. The current drummer (not this one) is Hannes Van Dahl and he is married to Floor Jansen of Nightwish.
The power of music.🤘🤘 A huge crowd in Poland singing along with a song about a WW II German tank division. Sabaton is from Sweden, most of their songs are about Military History. Lead singer Joakim Broden and bassist Par Sundstrom are the primary songwriters, and only original members left. Guitarists Chris Rorland and Thobbe Englund and drummer Robban Back are seen here. Thobbe and Robban have since left, being replace by drummer Hannes van Dahl in 2014, and guitarist Tommy Johansson in 2016. You obviously liked them. For more try the music videos for Christmas Truce and Bismarck. And the animated STORY videos for Night Witches, no Bullets Fly, The Red Baron, Lady of the Dark, and The First Soldier.
There we go…….another very deep rabbit hole 😊. Daniel, a lot of NW Fans are at the same time Sabaton Fans. Keep on surprising me….!😮 I could give you at least 10 songs of them, to which you should react first. They are an awesome live band, but there videos are fantastic as well, with a huge production quality. My first song I watched was there official musical video release „Bismarck „, just with this song they got me. By the way, Sabaton was the band which pulled me into the Metal rabbit hole. By the way, Floor is married to the Sabaton drummer, his name is Hannes van Dahl. This way you can say, that Sabaton is related to NW. Have fun with SABATON🤟
Keep the Sabaton 🇸🇪 videos coming, this Song is Amazing, more than a half million people in the crowd, is insane!!!! Sabaton = history lesson 📚 and their music is awesome!! The current Drummer 🥁 of Sabaton Hannes van Dahl is FLOOR JANSEN'S husband 🤩 always nice to know! Sabaton 🇸🇪 and Nightwish 🇫🇮 are good friends with each other! Thanks 👍💪🔥 🇳🇱
Great, that you now switched to Sabaton. They have really fascinating live versions - but for a better understanding of the message of their songs, do also the music videos for some songs. You will be surprised of the quality (that will be a new experience for you! It’s not what you expect): Bismarck, Christmas Truce, No bullets…, 1916… (and for live do: En Livstid en Krig (live from Gothenburg) - and for all of their songs use the subtitles (it’s very important you understand the lyrics!) ‼️🏆👍

Im so jealous… u have so much great things in front of U exploring Sabaton ❤ Would love a reaction from my hometown En livstid i krig- live from Gothenburg
Okay, now you opened another rabbit hole, and with this one you will learn history too. And then there is Tommy.... phuh.... your so deep now. 😁 Greetings from Finland! 🤘🎶 🖤 🎸🇫🇮
Hi Daniel! Sabaton has a list of former members far longer than their list of current members, I think their current lineup has been the most stable (unchanged for a decade) and coincides with the period that that they leaned most heavily into being history nerds, doing videos with Yarnhub and World of Warships. Suggested Sabaton videos: Bismark, The Night Witches, No Bullets Fly and Christmas Truce. Have a great one!
Sabaton live is one thing, Sabaton videos are a complete other thing, you MUST watch (til the end!)! There is a lot to learn about history. Important: they do Not glorify war, they remember to What had happen. They are from Sweden.
This was their show opener when we saw them in Vegas last year. EPIC You’re gonna have a great time in this rabbit hole!!! Also, someone already probably said this, but this is not their current lineup. Their current drummer is married to the lead singer of Nightwish.
Probably one of the maddest and most amazing shows I have seen! Sabaton has amazing stage displays and actitivy, but Woodstock is just out of this world with that insane crowd!
Great reaction. My history with Sabaton started like yours with Ghost Division. I loved the song because of the power it radiates. Then I learned the lyrics and thought they were hailing the Nazis. Man, I was wrong. Somewhere I found Night Witches from Sabaton and fell in love with the band. Try Night Witches, Bismark and especially To Hell and Back. And keep on rocking.
Great choice! Ghost Division is usually Sabaton's opening song at concerts ans it is for you the opening to the historical world of Sabaton banger songs! Great reaction! Thanks :-) By the way, I could see at the first second of the video you'll like the band ;)
The only band in the world that can made 700 000 Polish people to sing about Germany Rommel Tank Division ;) By the way - Who won the 1940s Tour De France? 7th German Tank Division ;)
I just found you, you just found Sabaton and you've got yourself a HUGE rabbit hole to explore. 10 albums, EP's and singles will keep you busy for a while 😁 Sabaton are the best - musicians, historians and performers. They sing history without taking sides, they just making sure it's not forgotten. You should do more of their live performances like "Great War" from Great Tour 2020 and others mentioned in comments. For a video ( outstanding ) I suggest "Steel Commanders" Woodstock Poland now named Pol'n'Rock Festival is one of the biggest FREE festivals in Europe. Today I read that "The Guardian" named it among 8 other european festivals one of the best nonprofit , noncommercial festivals. The festiwal has a capacity up to 1mln people. Back to Sabaton. If you want to know more about historical events or heroes they sing about Sabaton has "Sabaton History Channel" where a historian Indy Neidel explaines every song. Just watch it after the reaction since they play fragments of the songs there. Their nevest video "1916" is epic, you should look into it. If you keep reacting to Sabaton the whole Sabaton Army will come to your channel. Because SABATON is the best 🤘🔥🤘💥🎶🇵🇱
Please do more sabaton! They are the perfect blend of history and metal! This particular song covers Rommel and his panzer division during the invasion of poland. Apparently he went so fast during the german push around the maginot line, that he lost contact with the rest of the german army and found himself behind the french lines, to the point were he was personally forced to turn back to re-establish communications. The sheer panic and chaos his breakthrough caused to the french army propably sped up the french surrender by weeks and Rommel's tank unit earned the "Division Phantom" (ghost division) nickname due to the simple fact no one was sure were it was or what it was doing during the invasion
Super! In case you haven’t been told, the Sabaton drummer is married to Floor Jansen! Imagine what their kids will be like. Already have one, she is about to have number two! Rock on!
Sabaton is a Swedish band which sings about military history. Ghost Division is about Erwin Rommel's panzer corps during the German invasion of France in 1940
2012 was a pivotal year for Sabaton, as there were changes to both of their guitarists, and to the drummer. The drummer in this performance isn't Mr. Floor Jansen (Hannes van Dahl), BTW. He would arrive several years later.
Hi, Arias great reaction video I'm new to Sabaton myself I love the power of the music. There's another group that I think you might like Powerwolf from Germany are also a power metal band but their subject is more on the mythology, medieval side. I think the first one the you might like is Amen and attack the official video will do.
Hello to all fans and channel owner. Yes, this is definitely one of the best examples of how music unites people and transcends divisions. 750 thousand Poles sing a song about "Ghost Division" by Erwin Rommel's panzer corps. Sabaton holds a very special place in the hearts of Poles, of course not only our hearts, but also every lover of history and music. They sing about all armies and conflicts, heroes and sacrifices... about Americans, and one of them is "To Hell and Back" about Audie Murphy. Sabaton has a Sabaton History channel, each song has its own episode about the release the song is associated with, I highly recommend it. Greetings once again to everyone on this channel.
Yup. Proud to be swedish. hahahaha Next stop Sabaton - Swedish pagans. Live at Wacken 2019 A very special show where they used both stages. One with current members and one with former members playing together. That is epic. And together with my favourite cello player Tina Guo, what can go wrong? Absolutely nothing
Same thing like with Nightwish 😉! Nice to see and hear, but ... Without the Lyrics, ... The crowd is going crazy, because they know the Lyrics!!! Sabaton is pure historical education!
Just to add to your playlist, Devin Townsend - Kingdom Jinder - Pisces Powerwolf - Demons are a girls best friend Avantasia - The Scarecrow live Ayreon - the day the world broke down Gloryhammer - Gloryhammer live Alestorm - Drink Leo Moracchioli - Africa cover Beast In Black - Blind and Frozen Brothers of metal - mead song The HU - Yuve yuve yu Visions of atlantis - master the hurricane Wind Rose - Diggy Diggy Hole
If you're into awesome live performances, you should give Avatar a go. Smells Like a Freakshow at Wacken and Bloody Angel in Poland in 2019 are real treats. Plus, they're from Sweden as well. 😄
Good for you to know that Floor met the members of this Swedish metal band Sabaton through Nightwish and now she is married to the drummer of Sabaton. I'd now suggest you the look at another Finnish band "Poets Of The Fall". The following song "Angel" is performed in "Alexander Theatre Sessions". Empty theatre and acoustic with piano and the singer/songwriter Marko Saaresto alone. His voice and vocals control are amazing and will definately pull your heartstrings. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tTXd90pVjCg.html Later on listen to from the same band "Carnival Of Rust" Live in Moscow ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-AGPpUTPzS6k.html
Epica, Apocalyptica and now Sabaton? You have to do "Christmas Truce" by Sabaton. Just a piece of advice, listen all the way through the credits as you already know the singer. You have to check out some of Apocalyptica's Metallica covers as they're really well done. Don't have say anything about Epica as you're already getting the vibe. Now let's put Europe aside for a moment and think of your northern neighbours. Unleash the Archers and "Awakening": ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gqUPGa15Oto.html
What's your name? It feels weird calling you Arias. Anyways, I think these kinda shows are a bucket-list stuff to do in your lifetime. I've seen Sabaton and Epica once. Within Temptation twice. Nightwish, and to be fare most Finnish bands multiple times. But Middle European shows are the best. Like Wacken open Air. Also Checks have great open air concerts too. Paris was amazing. Go see the world. I encourage you to do it...
We're online, in-tune. And everything. Have to say this concerts Audio isn't the greatest mostly because mics pick up the audio and other noises. Hence those squeals from speaker's. 🔊
Great reaction again, I went to the show of Sabaton just two weeks after my wife past away with 3 of my four kids and it was very emotional but great! Any time idea why this was supposed to you? The drummer Jannes Van Dahl us the husband of Floor Jansen. Sabaton is great, they are a powermetalbabd with war as a subject, but no macho stories but real stories that hit you in the heart. Please react to The Christmas Truce and/or No Bullets Fly. Please read the backgroundstory of those songs and you will no why they are so awesome!!!
