20th Anniversary Show (Live at Wacken 2019)
For the greater part of the Wacken concert, we commandeered the festival’s two main stages, the side-by-side-and-connected Faster and Harder Stages, becoming the first artist in Wacken’s 30-year history to utilize both stages simultaneously in this way. During this show we were joined by the Great War choir, a bunch of previous Sabaton members as well as the internationally acclaimed GRAMMY-nominated virtuoso cellist Tina Guo for the encore.

Sabaton always plays 2 semitones down when playing live, compared to their studio releases. (The reason behind this is still unknown to me.) So it might just be that singing lower suits his vocals better or just that the pitched down version of the song sounds "better" overall. But those are simply my thoughts.

I remember that Thursday, I went home and my father looked at me like he has seen a ghost and asked: wait, you're not at Wacken again? I said I couldn't afford this time. So he gave me money. I started driving till almost Hamburg that night, last bit the other day, went through the village in search of a ticket, at some point got one, went in, getting the badge and just some 5mins in time to see The New Roses. Holy shit that moment of relief and happiness, boy did I cried. I didn't saw sabaton that Wacken, but I'll surely remember that 7th time in a row that I was at the holy ground. And the fucking last time for years to cum with our BS governments.

Dad and I are both fascinated by military history (why go to a crowded beach when there's usually a tank museum or a war museum we can visit was always our mantra on family holidays) Dad raised me on rock and metal, sabaton combine the two...now if only dad could sing! Must be where I get it from :)

Dear sabaton likely you wont see this but i am a very big fan and i figured id share my idea of a pacific war album titled steel and coral here are the tracks ive come up with 1st Peral harbour 2d coral sea 3d Leyte gulf 4th desmond doss 5th Saipan 6th iwo jima 7th Okinawa 8th operation ten-go 9th wake island 10th battle of attu 11th Missouri (about the japaense surrender on the uss Missouri) also i am thinking for saipan you can mention Ben L. saloman the dentist who fought off a entire banzai charge to save his patients and by the way rock on and continue making amazing songs you are one of the reasons i am such a history buff at 13 -sincerely spinostroyer1

They've never done pyro in the US. Only north America shows that have had pyro all were in Montréal Canada.

@@nevertrustbob1 You are right, I was wrong…. First time that was ever said on the internet. 😀The “pyro” was projection screen, we still had a fake tank and bunker set, actual playing of instruments and singing. I tried to get on Sabaton cruise…it sold out so fast.
