Probably the reason that metal is so underrepresented in the mainstream media is because of it’s followers are not as prominent and notorious as those of pop and other genres, as well as it’s “scary” tone, something that most people don’t really like at first glance and ignore the lyrics.

I'm still a young buck, but I've been around long enough to see all the cliche "I hate my generation" comments. "All they listen to is Justin Bieber and Lil Pump". I get it. I'm so far removed from this generation's music that I don't even get these feelings anymore. I haven't since middle school. I encourage you all to do this. What you gotta do is use the effort it takes to comment, but use it on finding more songs, and really comprehending them. Believe me, you'll all feel better. Hopefully we'll see a decrease in those "you say Justin Bieber, I say Bon Jovi" comments that are on every freakin' rock video.

Metal will never die, so long as the few passionate fans still support it. we're a small crowd, not many left.. I dunno, I look out and see oceans of people literally farther than the eye can see. Sabaton playing to 85'000 people in wacken, Iron Maiden playing to 300'000 at Rock in Rio... I don't think that's a small crowd. I think we're stronger than ever. Fans of pop music, hip hop, and stuff like that.. what is their music about? The singers sing about themselves and the stuff they do, the things they think, their own little worlds. A strange mix of trying to identify with their audience, while flaunting their extravagance. Pop music, and probably hip hop (I'll be honest, I have no idea what hip hop is about) is popular with people who haven't seen beyond themselves. Metal music is popular with people who want to see something bigger than themselves. Those who shape their world, not just live in it. Those who aspire to be something more than they are. I don't mean to disparage people who like pop and hip hop. If you're here reading this, it means you probably listened to this song. The metal community welcomes new brothers and sisters gladly; we all love to share every amazing story, every powerful performance with newcomers. I welcome you to your awakening.

The Rolling Stones are playing in Seattle in May. Let that sink in. Rock and metal will always be relevant. Aerosmith is still together. Metallica made a new album 2016 and is working on a new one, and they finally recovered from the St. Anger incident by becoming heavier then they ever have been. Judas Priest not only made an album in 2018, but it reached #1 most requested at the local radio station here in Seattle. Bad Wolves are up and coming, and are probably gonna do cool things. Sabaton and Dragonforce have things something coming out in 2019. This song speaks for itself at this point.

They really need to release more songs done in this fashion. Sabaton really does a excellent job of it.

I know this is all about Metal and how Pop, RnB and other music categories that don't involve rock(except Disco doesn't count since it died in one decade), but everytime I play World of Warships and I'm using USS Texas, I can't help but sometimes hear this song in my head and then I think about the real USS Texas BB-35 and how she is getting rotten and almost close to sinking that it made think about all the surviving WW2 battleships that are still there and are probably being left to rotten and are forgotten about that it is sad that most of these ships were the pride and joy of all the worlds navy yet they are nothing but museums now and will never sail the oceans, see battles or help with bombardments as they did back in WW2. Nowadays we only have Destroyers, Frigates, Cruisers, Subs and Carriers that can do only so much that a Battleship/Dreadnought could or can do, and no thanks to the invention of stealth technology all those radar guided missle, smart torpedos, radar tracking and sonar reading wil be useless one of these days and todays destroyers cannons can't do much and lack the range to hit anything from a distance less take something down without use of their missiles and radar guided equipment. With battleships however, they had the proper range, powerful shells and decent armor and a would have a mother load of weapons to choose from(USS Missouri did a lot of punishment in her time at Gulf War) that would almost have the battle over in less than a min. and would take out any ships if it came to ship to ship combat with their cannons and torpedoes instead of using any kind of missles at all.
