Sabicas is a titan. Have you noticed how he changes the mood from 3:00 to 3:50? Alegrias are always cheerful, full of life and hope, pure and plain simple. And then he gives us almost a minute of doubt, sadness and deep thought. I believe thats why he recovers then the main theme of this Alegria, so he shows us that after all happiness and sadness are within each other.

Hace poco, en una conferencia sobre la guitarra flamenca, el conferenciante comentó que Sabicas, que siempre se decía que era de Pamplona, nació, según datos que tenía, en Zaragoza. El mismo dijo que habría que mirar la Wikipedia para salir de dudas.
Floyd Rush There is nothing like flamenco puro. It evolved very quickly from simple accompaniment to sophisicated solo play. Anyway, Music is music. To me, Sabicas is in between flamenco and classical Spanish guitar, but anyway, those classifications arę worthless.
@@marcindabrowski7571 I agree with you. The music of Sabicas is something between Spanish classic and flamenco puro. El Tío Sabas is a master for all beginners guitarists. The Spanish guitar is other thing from Sabicas started to play. A greeting from Spain.
como se nota que sabicas vivio en nueva york,en sus videos casi siempre hay mas comentarios en ingles que español........ paro esta bien que sepan valorar el arte
Sabicas es netamente flamenco. De Lucía, mucho tiempo después, partió con el flamenco y después evolucionó en otros toques. Yepes no es flamenco, es netamente guitarra clásica. Muchas gracias.
@@danriv6663 haber paco empezó tocando a tolos genios antiguos del cante y luego cuando empezó a destacar y hacia sus conciertos solo tocaba flamenco Luego se tiro unos años con el yas Y yasta luego 30 años con su grupo que cantaba Pepe de Lucía el hermano haber que hacían namas que flamenco Y luego cuantos años también con duquende la Tana la Monse el farru Haber que hacía más que flamenco Paco el 90 por ciento flamenco aún que exploraria otros campos era para luego meter armonías que se llama en la música y meter cosas al flamenco no para destruirlo sino para expandirlo como así lo izo Saludos Dios te bendiga
No es el unico aunque si quizas el que mas ha llevado el Flamenco ha ser conocido fuera de Espana, tocando entre otros con Joe Back en los 70 . Tecnicamente esta entre los mejores eso si aunque me guste nino Miguel que tocaba con su alma... Hoy por hoy el que recoje el legado es PACO PENA...
