I think they just have not been announced or leaked yet, I think there was a freeze till 12 est but idk

I've heard that many of the GM's learned their lesson from Vegas expansion. Rather than giving up 2-3 players/picks.. they're just going to give up 1 and let it go... so the side deals were not happening because Seattle was expecting the haul that Vegas reaped and other GM's weren't obliging... I do expect to hear other other deals... where they flip a few players to other teams for futures... but not too many about taking certain players or not taking them.

You can have them. we have had enough average tams in this city. We are a at one end of the league. City now. Unfortunately the owner only wants to be at the top of football and doesn't care what his wife does to destroy the hockey cuz they finally got lucky in football. Honestly if you look at his play yeah his analytics are bad, but he also is playing minutes rivaling top pairing defenseman. I think other GMs think if they put him on a middle pair with a more defensive style defenseman he could be turned around. Though from everything Adams has said unless you meet his asking price no one is moving. I think Jack will because Minnesota is willing to trade Rossi both firsts, a prospect and probably Rask(not Tuuka, Victor) to land Eichel. Reinhart he seems set on 3 1st round assets which is fair since he is finally emerging as what everyone expected of him(i still hate every coach until Granato playing him like Eichels sidekick when he could play CENTER) so he probably won't move. However from how Seattle drafted if Risto was exposed i think they would have gone with Girgensons. They didn't want expensive out of Buffalo and Francis seemed to only take expensive if he thought of keeping it. Expensige being you make more than like 3 million aav

They didn't make any draft consideration trades (we'll give you this if you don't take this guy), which would have been announced yesterday. I guess they're gonna make trades with the guys they took though.

I agree with this. I’ve wondered how he would do on another team, considering everyone seems to get substantially better when they play elsewhere. It’s just become very clear that he’s reached his ceiling in Buffalo.

@@MelodyMartinMusic Yeah, I know what you mean, in order to make those deals Seattle wanted a 1st and a 3rd. That was too high of a price which is why none of those deals took place. However we should learn of other deals today. A lot of the players that Seattle took that didn't really make sense are believed to be part of bigger deals that we will learn about this afternoon. I just woke up so I wasn't very clear with what I meant.

@@MelodyMartinMusic You are correct. Vegas taught the GM's a lot about how the expansion draft can really hurt their team so that's why we saw so many moves right before the draft this time. The best example of this is the Leafs. In order to protect Kerfoot Seattle wanted a 1st and a 3rd so instead of doing that Toronto traded seventh-round pick and Filip Hallander to get McCann. That was a much cheaper option and still protected Kerfoot.

Yeah, he's lasted too long.

If nothing else, he's not worse than Carolina's GM for at least one day after what Yzerman pulled off yesterday.

I thought the name and the whole fucking ad campaign was a ruse. But here we are. Evidence of Twitter mobbing something into existence. They're gonna get their "release the Kraken" soundbite on opening night to thunderous cheers, and then get swept into the basement. All the while the fanbase gets called Krakheads for their stupidity. No anger here. Just chortling delight at how things may/should/will play out.

Apparently Seattle didn't make any trades like Vegas did where they took assets in exchange for not taking a certain player, but they made trades where they took a player with the purpose of trading them to another team, which will be announced later today.
