I debut my long-awaited Deathscythe Gundam cosplay at SacAnime Winter 2023. I finally got the thing done to a point where I can bring it to a con.....FINALLY lol. I had a blast being a huge mech and posing for pics with everyone!
A big thanks to @kyokurojmd, @lon.nomiddlename and @devontay99 for coming along to help me suit up and be my handlers as well. And @odinmakes for multiple reasons which includes inspiring me and providing the know-how with his videos as well as volunteering his time to do cosplay repair at the con.
Definitely looking forward to the next one, hopefully with some tweaks and added features to the suit.

If Scott McNeil is ever at a convention in your area, you should go there. Wear this and walk up to his booth. He'll probably freak out (in a good way).

That’s so cool. I’m sharing this with my dad right now. He got me into Gundam Wing and the other series, and Deathscythe was his favorite Gundam in all the franchise.

Gorgeous real life Gundam! I applaud you for braving this convention, or rather the area around it. It’s a zombie apocalypse in that part of town! I used to go to the Greek festival which was always at the same time as sac anime, at the same convention center. The anime people would frequently check out the Greek festival out of curiosity. It was always funny to see the older Greek Orthodox people wondering what a “cosplayer” is

I made them myself. They're waterslide decals that you can make and print on your own.

@@WilsonSum No, the one I got is for laser printers because that's all I have. You can get one for inkjet as well.

Not really, I designed it to be simple. The only things I need help with are putting on the upper body and head because once the arms are on my movement is quite limited.

@@leonite934 I've never tried but I did design it so I can assuming that I might need to give my legs a break. The rear skirt armor plate is removable allowing me to sit but I'd probably need a bar stool since a normal chair would be too low.
