Being a Pakistani I consider that Sachin Tendulkar is best ever Batsman of 150 years history of cricket. I disagree with the statement of sir Don Bradman that Tendulkar plays like him, I think Don Bradman played like Sachin. I have seen the videos of Don Bradman's batting and great Tendulkar was far better than him. Don Bradman faced very ordinary bowlers but Tendulkar faced the highest ranked bowlers of the history of cricket. He faced Waseem, Waqar, Shoaib, Bret Lee, Alen Donald, Bishop, Ambrose, Walsh, Marshall and Mc Grath. He scored centuries against these gaints. He showed his class in fast and bouncy pitches again bowling like rockets.

The problem is, how do you reconcile that Bradman's average was so astronomically high, given that his contemporaries all faced the same - as you put it "Very ordinary" bowlers - but couldn't achieve the status that Bradman did? If it was just the bowlers that were bad, then surely all the Batsman of that era would have averages comparable to Bradman's? No, Sachin is not the best ever. He's ONE of the best of the modern era. Next to Ponting, Clarke, Lara, Smith and a few others.

I remember watching this match some where around 16 to 17 years back, to my knowledge they call this as MAX cricket in NZ, if a batsmen hit a boundary or a 6 towards side screen they double the runs scored ( like 4 will be 8 and 6 will 12) there will be an extra umpair standing straight to decide these runs. First 5 overs only 2 fielders outside the circle and it is a 10 overs match. This is not a official match by ICC. Could be T20 is derivative of this format.

Did somebody noticed the score board India - 80 ( 5 overs ) Even now when a t20 game is being played its tough to get this kind of start after 5 overs and this is when no one knows that t20 will be played in future. I think this innings was played in 2004-05 . So u can imagine how big this innings was at that time .still it is. according to modern cricket batting friendly rules its tough so Salute to this man sachin ramesh tendulkar....u r the godfather of cricket for me .. i don't mind what other people think...

Only two 8s and one 12 scored in that innings of 72 which amounts to 4+4+6=14 and if subtracting it he gets 58 runs in 27 balls which is pretty fast in and around 2003!!!
