No problem. yes, they work great! I love these worms!! I've been catching striper with them for years. Try different colors because the water is still a little muddy. The white tail and the black with red flakes are my favorite! Good Luck!!!👍🙏🎣
New sub! Good to see a local guy fishing a local water way! Any luck on the American? I've heard from Fisherman's Warehouse the bite on the America is still pretty good as well below Watt Avenue down past the university.
Thank you, I appreciate it! Don't really go out to the American too often. Tomorrow, I'm going out to Sherman island on the sac river. I heard the bite is good out there for stripper right now.
@@fishtherapy247 I try not to let strippers bite me. 🤣 Let us know how you do. Fisherman's Warehouse says the bite is very good to excellent on the Sac, but the rain might muddy it up slowing it down to lures that make a racket.
Yeah, you definitely want to use weight as light as possible. Try using 5/8 or maybe even 3/4. You want to bounce the bottom, as try late afternoon top water! Good luck 🎣
I recently moved from northern washington area. Looking for some good areas to catch anything good to eat. Let me know if you have anytips. The videos are great by the way thanks.
Thank you! If you have a boat, try the delta for striper or Berkley marina halibut, and striper being caught daily. Or bank fish using sardines or chicken liver for striper or catfish. Also, Shad is running in Sacramento River right now. Good luck 🎣 👍 👊
@@fishtherapy247 I like bring my little bro and only have one kayak. would the delta be good for bank fishing or should i go somewhere else for bank fishing ?
@@jeffhenson1994 I started fishing 3 weeks ago. Hadn't been since I was a kid, and we don't need to talk about how long ago that was lol. I realized my dad did everything and taught me nothing. My son wants to fish so I'm trying to find a good spot I can take him, but also accessible as I recently had back surgery. Wish I had a boat. Do you usually get good results trolling?
@jeffhenson1994 The main striper run is gone, probably the Rio Vista area to the bay by now. I stopped a week ago when the water was higher with more current. You can still get one now but I was getting 2 fish a lot in 2-3 hrs really early in the morning at dawn. I used size 120 white Duo Realis jerk baits. The worm he's using is really good too. He should of said where he bought them and the name brand, what length, maybe Johnsons bait-n-tackle. I also use a Berk. Power Bait 10" black worm with blue flecks, also Texas Rig size 6 hook.
yes i get the worms from Johnson bait and tackle in yuba city 7 inch black with white tail or black with red flakes. the most effective sofrt plastic worm to catch striper from the bank in my opinion
Try afternoons or nights. Fish are more active at night in the hot summer months! Bait fishing, try anchovies nightcrawlers or chicken liver Lure fishing, try soft plastic worm 7" Texas rig, jerkbait, or big bright color swimbaits. hope this helps. Good luck to you out there!🙏👍🎣👊
