This was my homage to the ‘Sammo Hung vs Lau Kar Leung staff fight' from “Pedicab Driver.” We shot the staff fight over the course of 3 days. Each day was 104+ degrees F. Unfortunately we never finished the entire project because of scheduling - Brendon was supposed to fight Micah after his fight with Jimmy. i couldn’t be more proud of the final product that is the fight. Brendon and Jimmy are the only two people that i know of that could’ve pulled off the intense choreography they came up with...as well as my whacky ideas.

I don't even how many years have passed since the first Sacrifice. this sequel pretty much came out of nowhere. Staff fights are also pretty rare in the indie fight scene world so this was one hell of a treat!

The sound effects are not correct for the impacts. In doing foley artistry, the impact sounds need to change when contacting different mediums. The ending scene did not cut soon enough and we see the Jo is aimed over the head of the person laying on the ground.

@@vjvlad I did not state the Jo did not land where it was suppose to land. For a fighter aiming the butt end of a Jo toward an opponents face, it should travel toward the face. If your goal was to deliberately have the Jo miss the head, the abrupt cut at the end does not successfully convey that such a choice was deliberate, rather it views as an abrupt cut that was not cut soon enough to sell the illusion, that the opponent was struck in the face. If the goal was to miss and convey this as a miss, the abrupt cut at the ends steals away the story telling of this action making convey the choice of "missing" as ambiguous- with respect. I have listened to it again, and I stand by my previous audio note on the foley work.
