March 19th, 2021 Stage IIIA Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (Non-Smoking)
February 2022 Stage IV Non Small Cell Lung Cancer (spreading to Brain, and other parts of lung)
Gene Mutation EGFR with Exon 20 Insertion
TREATMENTS (Received or currently Receiving
2021: 8 Rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin and Paclitaxel) with 30 concurrent radiation treatments to chest and lung
Failed Immunotherapy directly after Chemo and Radiation (Durvalumab, 1 round)
2022: Current Chemo Plan; ongoing
6 rounds of Chemotherapy (Carboplatin, Alimta, and Avastin)
Targeted Brain Radiation

The purpose of my channel is to document my cancer journey to look back on, and/or help anyone else going through anything similar. It is also to potentially help loved ones supporting those who are in this fight as well. My main goal is to have footage of this journey for my husband and children to look back on. I originally created this channel as a sort of video diary for my family.

Dear Future Ellis and Winnie. Your mom was the strongest, kindest soul. She fought with all her might and loved you both so much. I miss you so much I’m so so sad and I can’t explain why I’m so affected by someone I never met. I just feel like I knew her because she is so personable. I have been rooting for them all for over a year and I watched her endure awful things just so she could be here longer for her babies! She finally beat cancer!!!!!

I guess Im not the only one re-watching your videos. I miss you, but this world is very scary right now. 1,400 earthquakes struck Iceland 🇮🇸 & many ppl had to evaluate because of a crack in the ground in the earth 🌎 threats of a volcanic eruption at any time or any day now. You are safe where you are. I feel like maybe soon the Rapture, but nobody knows, not even the Angels in Heaven nor the Son, only God the Father knows. I love you & continued prayers for your husband & your miniature you which is Winnie and Ellis is a miniature Kyle.

I didn't start watching this until about a couple of months before Jenny passed. I've been going back to watch more of her journey with cancer. I feel so sad for this family. What a wonderful loving family. Future Ellis and Winnie, your momma loves you more than anything in the world, know that she is watching over all of you and she wants nothing more than for you to be happy. She is one strong courageous woman and she will live on within all of you. Kyle you're such a amazing man, it warms my heart to see so clearly how much you love each other, it's going to be hard to find someone else to love but I pray that you will 😊

Those ice gloves are nice. My chemo office gave us ice packs. Hope you feel better very soon. It does suck having to get it. Prayers for you. I'm crying with you. Be strong. My mom was diagnosed when I was 7 yrs old. She lived until I was 19 yrs. She said she lived until she knew my sister and I could take care of ourselves. You do that for your kids! You can do it.

Jenny what you’re dealing with is so incredibly hard. There’s nothing wrong with feeling sad or down. You do not have to be strong all the time. I know that there is this weird expectation on cancer patients to be a strong, positive warriors but that is completely unrealistic. I think it’s really healthy for you to talk about your emotions and have your cry. ❤️ I really hope that when you go on your maintenance chemo, it’s a little bit kinder to you. Hopefully not so many side effects. I will be thinking of you on July 13th when you have your scan and sending all the positive thoughts in the world!🙌❤️🥰🙏🙏

HiJenny. I took prednisone 60mgs for almost eight months for a rare lung problem. When I started to ween off my body felt it each time I took less of it. When I got down to 20mgs I started having shortness of breath and was told to ween off slower and in 5mgs at a time. Finally I was able to get off it. The weight gain slowly resolved itself. My hardest symptom taking prednisone was lack of sleep and "roid rage". Sending positive thoughts and prayers your way..🙏🏼❤️

I take Cortef for Adrenal Insufficiency which I realize is a very different condition than Jenny’s fighting. Jenny, I know the weight is a huge thing; it is for all women; I believe. I was on Prednisone for a short time and had a rough time with it and that’s when my endo switch me to Brand name Cortef. I go upon down with it depending on my symptoms and haven’t had the weight and other side effects I struggled with while on Prednisone. It might be worth asking if they could switch you to Cortef and just see if your body tolerates it easier. You are a very brave soul and I hope you realize how many people you inspire with your grace and courage. It’s normal to have a down day and everyone is entitled so please don’t beat yourself up about “one of those days”. God Bless you, sweetie. ❤️

When I was on chemo, I drank about one cup of something called magic mineral broth daily. You can find the recipe online. I made it and froze it in one cup amounts. I think it helps strengthen your immune system which in turn, helps you to feel better. The water I suggested earlier really helped me. I pray that you feel better soon. You’re such a trooper.

Jenny - blessings to you. My really good friend went through 2 years of chemo and she just didn't think she'd make it. She was so sick. But she's been well for a year now and off chemo. She is traveling her heart out because that's what she likes to do. She's so thankful for chemo, like you, but also hated it. Just know there is an end to it and you'll get there. Take one day at a time. Dwell on the good things in life and your loving family.

Traveling and getting away is so important to cope! I admire your strength and how honest you are. I was diagnosed with breast cancer last week and my appointment with the oncologist is next week, and surgery will be before the end of this month. Your eyes are bright with joy in spite of your struggles. I know how incredibly difficult it is to be sick everyday, and I’ve done the chemo thing. You didn’t do anything wrong and certainly don’t deserve your struggles. Your children will thrive and see their momma is a warrior. I will need oral chemo, every day, for the rest of my life, so I get feeling sad and not wanting to be sick. Keep on fighting, you got this!

It's good to let them tears flow, it helps get rid of the pent up pressure. I was allergic to steroids that were oral but ok with intravenous. The chemo sickness is the worst. I wanted to just give you a hugh big hugs 🫂 🤗

You're going through something horrific. You feel how you feel don't be sorry for that ever!!! I can't imagine someone not being as sad as one can be going through what your family's going through. You are absolutely incredible! FYI that dress looks absolutely beautiful on you. You're such an amazing mom even when you're sick. Your husband's an incredible man but he wouldn't look as good in the dress lol ❤️❤️

My husband was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He is going through extremely aggressive chemo, and we found the Relief Band really helpful for chemo side effects. It's been a real life saver for him. Blessings to you. ❤❤

I have two lady's I pray for daily. My first is my 37 year old daughter. Who has a very rare form of thyroid cancer. We had to go to Oregon State to find a specialist,. I'm a week mom. I don't take things like this easy. She is a ER nurse. And knows all the prodigal of procedures , she's calm which helps me. We find out more after her CT scan August 26.🤞🙏 My second lady is you. I follow you daily / weekly. Your journey has been real and informative God bless you for your strength, and positive thoughts for your future. I too didn't know cancer can be a life long road. Well take that instead of a dead end. Thank you for all your input you go through , through out this bump in a road travel. Jenny my love and prayers everyday follow you , as my love and prayers follow my daughter. Your a rock , stay strong sweets. ♥️
