Sad-ist’s animatic BROKE me when I first saw it. Techno was a huge part of my life growing up, and the news hurt. It’s amazing how much he’s helped us.
Yea I cried when I learned the new more so imagining being in his friends shoes. But yea I felt bad since I always loved his content. That sadist animation killed me
Watching that Technoblade animation so soon after his death hurt so much, but it was amazing because we get to see the truly amazing impact that Techno had on so many people
I literally cried on the last animation, I try to avoid things with technoblade now because I always get emotional, and as the memories flashed by I started to cry, his memories stopped way to fast, because of his unfortunate situation, he wont be able to make any new ones. Rest in piece technoblade, thank you for everything you have done, we all miss you
I swear I don’t cry for anything else in my life, but the second anything references techno’s passing there is at least one tear going down my face still. What an impact he had. What a legend
The audio from the technoblade video, including the music, is from technoblade's first Skyblock video. Obviously it has a different tone, but the way Sad-ist animates it makes it hit so much differently
If you make another Sad-ist reaction, might I recoment both her "Sky: Children of the Light" animatic, and her completely original animation "Kuneho"? The first one incapsulates the feeling of the game it is based on just perfectly, and the secound one tells a beautyfully interesting story! (Also, both videos are HIGHLY underrated if one compares their view count to Sad-ist other videos, most likely becouse one is from a comparably niche comunity, and the secound one is an original project.)
everything sadist turns out is incredible! and im pretty sure that yes, she's a one person team, and yes, you're saying it right. or at least, if you aren't right, then we're in it together!
you should react to some Magnus Archives animatics! i think you would really like the story as a whole but theres a Lot of canon content and the animatics are quicker and easier. recommended: - A Distortion’s Trial (akidachi) - Home (faerie kei) - The Killing Kind (atlasofgalaxies) any animation made by the channel Grace is also recommended if you think the story sounds interesting you should totally check out the whole podcast, theres (possibly) another season coming out soon
Hi Mathew! I really think you'd like the Hollow Knight soundtrack. It's very beautiful, but also has a lot of songs that slap, and the composer is really great at conveying atmosphere and complex emotions. Thanks!
If you do decide to do another part of this in the future, I absolutely suggest checking out Kuneho, it's another original animation from SAD-ist, and it looks absolutely stunning
Honestly, I don't watch Minecraft content. But even I cry when I watch the last animation every time, because the feeling of achievement is something we can all relate to, as well as things coming to an end, and having to look back at your life and be amazed by the things you've gone through. It's also the great Minecraft music that hits that nostalgia bone beautifully done with the timing of the speech, it's honestly a great use of the technique used in the movie UP, makes you cry very quickly. As an artist, this animation inspires me in many different ways, and has touched me deeply, despite never having known Technoblade before he passed. Rest in Power.
Dude. The last one hit hard… I first found out about his passing by tick-tock tributes (thats the first time I found out he even existed) I was only slightly affected by it because of my lack in knowing him well, but as time went on and I realized what a kind a sarcastic-humored guy he was - I got to the point where it was PAINFUL to cry endlessly at night-finding no comfort when trying to explain what I was going through to my closest friends even my mom. I mourn his loss by bottling up my sadness all day, thinking of him and then cry myself to sleep every night, begging God to bring him back. Realizing he wasn't coming back I begged for a sign to show me that he was at least happy in his new life. I finally got an answer on the fourth plead, a white swan-a sign of peace, love, and happiness - and from then on i only cry happy tears. But I was still so scared that if I watched anything with him or his voice that I would cry, but when I finally did I found comfort, love, peace, safety, and a sensation that he was still alive in the video. Technoblade truly never dies - lets donate now to kill cancer because if cancer killed techno, the we kill cancer! thanksdocvirtualhug🥺💖💖💓💓💓💓💓💓 - Love too all!!!
OMG YES!!!! I've been waiting for a new Sad-ist reaction from Mathew. At the end of Techno's one, it said ''Rest in Power'' and that was such a little detail, I didn't really notice it the first time I watched it because I was crying but it's true, Techno's going to beat god in heaven. T-T
Decided to ask, because why not: Have you heard music from The Mechanisms before? Because if not, that's something I'd love to hear. They do storytelling through music and there's some real bangers in there :) Can personally suggest 'The Riddle of the Sphinx', 'Skin and Bone' and 'Old King Cole', maybe 'Loki'. This might not go anywhere, but I thought I thought I might as well just ask :)
Oh this one I have been waiting for!!!!! Loved the animation already but seeing people see it for the first time is something else! I'd love to see you react to Electric Callboy. They have some pretty interesting music videos, that are very much worth reacting to, even if it's just for the craziness.
Mathew, I just got an idea from another commenter, could you please react to The Mechanisms? (I recommend going by albums, as each album tells a story) It's a band of immortal (and immoral) space pirates, who like to have fun, violence and... More violence? They collect tragic stories and like to retell them through their music I think you would enjoy it very much and find it interesting, I would like to know your thoughts on it! (I would recommend 'Once Upon a Time in Space')
hello matt!! you should really react to the soundtrack or the musical itself its called ride the cyclone, no pressure at all!! the music slaps and each song def has character and the vocals are just refreshing to hear but overall I think you would really enjoy listening to it!
I love that you reacted to some of sadists non dsmp stuff bc they are so talented. !! You should react to some of derivakats non dsmp songs, I recommend under the weather, finally find you and don’t wanna lose you but there are so many awesome ones !!!!
If you liked the poetry aspect, I'm going to recommend "And then there were none" by Everen! Their art is gorgeous, and the poem is genuinely kind of terrifying
You should play Stanley parable deluxe in a video or something the game it's doesn't have any noticeable music (except one) but it's still a really fun experience this game has the best narration
I'm not an emotional person but this stuff with techno hits hard. My heart hurts everytime and it's not like I knew him but he made me laugh and enjoy life more in a moment I had felt low. My heart clenches everytime I see something like this, my heart still wishes he was here and it hurts to think he's not. It's hurts more knowing the people he knew are hurting much worse, to think of what they're dealing with pains me. It's amazing how much someone you barely know can affect you in such a way. Technoblade never dies
I really wish you would react to dingo doodles. She is an animator who has a dungeons and dragons story series. I never really understood d and d but I was still amazed by it. I hope you go check it out. The 1st episode is called : doomed the universe by karyoky.
Hey Mathew, would you be willing to give a particular song from Pathologic 2's OST a listen? It's a slavic/steppe horror game about being a doctor returning to his hometown during a plague in the early 1900's (or late 1800's, since the game is unclear) where superstition and a religious community are unable to help you...while entire districts get infected and blocked off by the town's police, and eventually the military, as you have to race to find a cure before the town is shelled. The whole game is based around rushing to do as much as you can while the clock is always ticking...never able to do everything as the days feel shorter and the tasks growing more ridiculously complex. The track is called "Darkness", and in particular you'll wanna listen to the "Steppe Language version". I find it ungodly haunting, but uniquely beautiful. The language is fictional, so there's no real meaning to it, but it conveys such mysterious tones.
If you also react to different videogame soundtracks, I DEFINATELY recomend you to react to some splatoon music, preferibly from the idols of each game!
It would be really cool if you could react to some of the Stupendium's stuff. You did one of their older videos in your Doki Doki reaction, but it would be great to see you react to their newer music, particularly Ad Infinitum, The Toybox, and Pizza the Action
Amazing video! I was wondering if you could react to Marianas trench? It’s an extremely underrated band that has amazing vocals. ‘The killing kind’ and ‘echoes of you’ are my personal favourites.
Would you react to some more Halfy and Winks? They have other animations you haven't reacted to, like Oblivion, White Castle, Nothing But Free, and Empty Pages. They also have other songs that are dsmp related, but don't necessarily have an animation, like Till the End, Blink of An Eye, and Other Side of the Moon (the last two are on only Winks' channel)
If you would like to take my request, there's this one woman who's songs I would love for to hear, she is personally a very underrated artist and I feel like you will also enjoy her songs, her name is Zoe Wees, she doesn't have a single bad track honestly, if you do take my comment into consideration, thank you so much, have a lovely day/night
Why is there no links to the original on a react video? :( I don't have anything against reaction videos as I find some interesting stuff through them every now and then, but it would be nice to at least include in the descrtiption who made it and what its called even if I could look it up relatively easily :P
NOT THE TECHNOBLADE VIDEO AGAIN-* crying * LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE, HE'S LAUGHING AT MY NERD TEARS AGAINNNN! I did not sign up for crying again. If you like the poem animations, might I rec Love||jrwi animatic by KATastrophic(huh, the structure of the name is similar to SAD-ist, huh) I know you know Nothing about Just Roll With It, but you don't need to know about it for that specific video. All their other videos are phenominal too, but even I'm not touching the Prime Defenders animatics because of spoilers. Most of their other jrwi animatics are jokey, but still, like I said, Great. I feel like you could compare I'm My Own Problem and Your Love. It's the same charaters fighting, but they're different and Amazing. eat. (actually all lowercase) is actually audio from the show, but it's not spoiler heavy in the slightest. The Expressions! They sure expression!
It sucks how her resent works have barley a fraction of veiws that it did before just because they arent dsmp related . . . even if you came for dsmp they should still stay for her amazing work.
