Meredith really would had been so lost if she hadn’t had met Derek and so would he too they saved each other, he really met his perfect match and so did she. She will never love anyone else like she loved him no one can ever replace Derek Derek was her husband , her best friend, her most beloved soulmate ever, sometimes even her partner in crime, mostly her better half, he was and always will be everything to her, he always believed in her when no one else did, she became his wife for a reason and he married her for a reason, he loved her for a very good reason and she loved him for a very good reason too they met for a reason Ever sense Derek died Meredith hasn’t been the same without him something inside of her is gone when he died something inside of her also died. When I see Derek with Meredith it’s so sad that they never got to grow old together they never really got so much Time with each other but Meredith was glad with that time she really did got with him not being with him she would had never have zola or Bailey or Ellis being with Derek she got her kids and so much more too he was and always will be her GREATEST LOVE STORY EVER

Meredith have lost so much in her life first mom then George and then her little sister, then Mark, and then her husband Derek and now recently her dad. She didn’t deserve to lose all these people in her life but if she hadn’t she wouldn’t have become the Meredith Grey we all love she became more confident and grateful for that time and experience she got with all of the people she loved and lost I think that she doesn’t regret any thing about it she was grateful for that happening because that’s how life is it’s not always a perfect life you have to go through painful things in life in order to move on and growing as a person and that’s what Meredith Grey did and that’s why I love her character so much in this show!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She has never loved anyone so much as much she loved him she never really truly got a real date or relationship with him because he died too soon He loved her despite what short time he got with her and it was worth it all of it Every time I hear the song (CHASING CARS) I always think about izzie and Denny and when she lost him That whole song and the lyrics and that song was so made for them in so many ways I can’t even put into words in to it how much it fits them!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Derek’s death was different to all of the other ones bc humans merdith had gone through sm and they had been together for way longer than the rest. Don’t get me wrong I was v sad and I cried when everyone else died but Derek’s death broke me Also izzie properly loved again like fell in love with Alex after Denny and teddy probs would eventually and obvs we didn’t get to see mark for that long after Lexie so we don’t really know whether or not he would’ve . But Meredith will never ever everrrrrrr be in love again. She might love someone but she won’t acc be in love ever again and no one could ever even be comparable to Derek for her
