When Amelia broke down I cried even more. Yeah merediths breakdown made me cry but Amelia has always talked about how she could not bare losing Derek after what happened with her dad. Derek was all she had left..

Derek has been my favorite from the beginning. I’ve been to sad to watch that episode and a couple episodes after that. I swear I cried and I’m still crying more than Amelia and Meredith and everyone. Each day I think about Patrick/Derek and if Meredith ever dies he should wait for her outside the elevator. The shoke on there faces when Merideth told them Derek was dead was heartbreaking. I always thought that Meriderh didnt really break down much when Derek died but I realize she was provably in denial and in such shpke that the one person that her beat for is no more.
