Gone means many things, many feelings, and many situations. For me, it means the relationship is over. The person I loved did not love me or respect me, it was unrequited. The sweet yet thoughtfully sad tones of this song remind me of this. Gone can mean dead, taken, lost, forgotten, abandoned, rejected, or over. Few this I have have been taken away but much of what I once loved is gone - lost. I will never forget or lose faith. Much may be gone but I have gained new things. Sometimes things need to end so that new joy can come.

This is really lovely. I just recently lost my grandma, so this touches home. Wherever you are now, Grandma, I miss and love you.

The past is gone You can't bring it back

Music what is it? I have heard this question so many times. My own son asked me that not to long ago. I still really can't give him an answer, what I did tell him is "Music is feeling, emotion, music is what you need it to be. You feel sad so you listen to a slower song. I'm excited and you play rock music or something with a fast tempo. You feel and embrace the sound you hear." Might just be a ramble from a no one but that is what I think music is.

In the mirror on the other side of the bed something echoed in his head. In the halls passing frames filled with words left unsaid. Something was missing where ever he went. Pain ran through his chest when he finally realized.... she had finally left. With a heavy heart he slumped against the wall in the now dimly lit hall hugging the only thing he had left. A picture of her. He hugged it tightly and said "I love you." The words always left unsaid. However he received no answer. She was gone.
