I hate goodbyes. So I will just say see you later.

This hits where it's needed. A few days ago my fiance and childhood best friend lost feelings for me and broke things off. She's still there for me as a friend which is respectable, but songs like this help me grasp whats happening.

Goodbye, my dearest friend. A piece of my heart and soul left when you went to the rainbow bridge. My world was shattered into a million pieces. Unfamiliar, strange, scared, alone... Everything felt heavy and broken. To say goodbye to you, was the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my entire life, and it hurts me every moment. I still love you, and always will, until the day that I join you at the Rainbow Bridge. Only then, will I finally be complete again, when you are by my side, forever more... "This is not goodbye. One day, you and I shall meet again, but until then, I must ask you to be brave." But as he went toward the darkness, the wolf let out a howl, a deep, mournful howl. Somehow, she knew her master would never return. Artorias paused in his steps. He turned to look at Sif, seeing the dread welling in her crystaline eyes. He knelt beside her, resting his shield at her side and patting her gently on the head. "Sif, I want you to take my shield. It will protect you from the evils of the abyss, but also, may it always bring you comfort knowing your master is by your side. I must go now. Be strong for me, old friend." And with that, Artorias rose to his feet, lugging his greatsword over his shoulder. Boldly he marched into the darkness.....and the shadows forever took him...

I play this with tears in my eyes... A great future awaited me... A family a home a place where I could be sincerely happy.. But instead i am here bleeding out.. My pain of her being gone just cannot be exlpain with words .. I tried I really did

I remember my dearest friend who died in a motor accident. 😢😢 I just missed him so much, henis like a little brother. He is very tough when I first met him, one day... I saw him crying as farbas I remember it is about his family. I gave him advised for the situation. He is a very hard headed guy! 😢 But hey, we've become best friend not only that. We treated each other as a true brother. Then one day, there's a news that he died on the spot. 😢😢😢 And before he died, we chatted each other and planned to meet and have a bro time. But when I home.....he's gone..... 😢

I cried myself to sleep, listening to this when my dog died. There are so many things I wish I could have said, so many things I wish I could have done...

I know this video is old, but I just wanna say thank you for composing this. I went through a difficult time, was wondering who I am, at what point my life is and I was frankly very lost. I was in the middle of the night browsing through music, then I found your channel and this song. The very first note made my heart quiver and throughout the song i couldn't stop crying. All the emotions, all the loss I felt and all the empathy I felt when I saw the loss of others. All the feelings I had trouble expressing when I should have or needed to, all of them flushed out and after I was done crying, I started writing my first ever poem, where I wrote everything that I carried in my heart. I thought It's not good, but I shared it anyway, and people liked it, so I started being even more open with how I feel and started writing. So again, thank you. Thank you for inspiring me to write, thank you for helping me through a rough time, thank you for showing me how to feel loss. And most of all, thank you for blessing us with your music. P.S. I lost my cat today. He was a very clumsy cat. That's why we named him Tontin. It's spanish for clumsy. He had many names. Loki, Lou, Blake. Even though he was lazy and stubborn, I still loved him. I just hope he's doing better in the skies. Fly high Tontin. ❤❤❤

I loved you but I got so far yet so lost I sleep in pain trying hunting.. but a grown wolf like you I can't say bye even if it's bad bye I will remember you I will remember when you found me we cried together we got hurt together but yet I died alone.... *goodbye*

I have a rat problem in my barn so my family put out rat poison to try to knock the population down. One time I went to the barn to collect eggs and in front of one of the stalls, I see a motionless baby rat laying still. I was a bit sad but knew there's one less rat in the barn, so I grabbed a pitchfork and attempted to pick it up... Then it moved. This is where it hurt, this baby rat who I saw was a she, was dying, something I didn't want to see. I rushed her outsides and ran into the woods in my "backyard" and nestled her in leaves and flowers and waited for her to pass, but she wasn't going anywhere. It took me over five minutes of debating doing it or not, but I finally agreed and forced myself to put her out of her misery. I felt a knife go through my heart when she let out a tiny squeak before laying lifeless, I couldn't stop crying afterwards. This event really put a mark on me, I don't know if I did the right thing or not, I tried asking for forgiveness by laying flowers on her tiny body, but that memory still lingers and it hurts. Thank you for reading this, if you even do.

This is the sort of thing I would like to play at my funeral, though It'd probably make those who care most about me cry. It would be an emotional thing to play, but it'd fit the mood. I'm still too young to be thinking about death, I still have a life ahead of me, but it's something I should be aware of. I've subscribed to your channel, you've impressed me multiple times with your music. I'm not leaving anytime soon, I'm here to stay. Edit: My grandpa died of a heart attack shortly after he promised to spend some time with me, something I was looking forward to. I regret not getting the chance to know him better, but there's nothing I can do about it now. I was young at the time, I did something that I believed only happened in movies, I went into denial. I refused to believe he actually died, it was stupid and I found out the hard way when I visited my grandma that it was true, I asked where he was and I got my answer. I miss him, I never truly knew or understood him, but I miss him. I almost cried writing this, I didn't even remember him when I started writing this comment. The memory just popped up, caught me off guard. I have too many stories similar to this, though not involving deaths. My sister ran away and tried to kill herself, she lived and I don't know her anymore, my dad left my life and only recently I realize that he wasn't a good person, and I had to move away from all my friends, which led to me feeling lonely and surrounded by people I don't actually believe are my friends. My childhood hasn't been a great one, I think I'm starting to understand myself a little more. Thank you for making this video, I appreciate it. I would have never thought about any of this if it wasn't for you and everybody else in this comments section, I'd just stay up all night listening to other forms of music. I don't think like this very often, I'm lazy and unproductive, I just lay back and watch or read things online that distract me from my own life.
