@@Welliam706 it's true actually. Songs and music do have psychological effect which ultimately leads to physiological effects. Take motivation songs for example that hypes you up. If you hear sad or soulful songs in place like gym, you would naturally feel lazy to work out. You need hype music in gym, but soothing music in places like library or study room. Another point is brain also releases chemicals in the body while listening to songs. Lot of people gets chills and goosebumps. Same reason why sad songs aren't good when you're sad. Cause your brain tricks itself by releasing chemicals in the body and makes it comfort zone. A familiar feeling which is associated with your reason of being sad. Hence listening to sad songs feels good cause you find something that validates you. But you also stuck in that same emotion like a loop and hence it's not good. You'll simple get trapped in that loop of sadness which you mistake for comfort.
I stopped listening to songs about a year ago except the ones I'm forced to listen to in the gym. Most songs evoke something . I don't want any memories evoked. I want to face life, including memories neutrally. But not force more memories to be rejigged.
Jab rone ka man krta h to gaane sunkar ro leti hu manbhar k fir baad me apne mood me aane ki kosis krti hu acche gaane sunkar Bhakti waale haane sunakr kaafi accha lgta h fir baad me
ARIJIT SINGH ke song se tumhara Dil Tut jaata hai kyuki Arijit Singh ke avaz me itna dard hai , vo itne Dil se gaate hai ki tum usko feel kiye Bina reh hi nahi sakte ❤ Aur kumar sanu udit narayan ke gane tumko vo feeling nahi dete 😂
Cuz today people trying to pull the biggest star in ground as they feel jealous of the success they get. Harsh truth even I also get very angry when hear the name of Arijit Singh only by the psychiatrist.
Because Arijit voice contains actual pain...... I'm also a Diehard Arijitian. but stopped listening Arijit since last few months and trust me it helped me to move on.... Arijit sang other genera songs too....which are quite good but his sad songs really damages mental health........ specially if you listen in night and you are missing someone....
Maine thoda jaldi realise krliya tha within a year i had realised that often listening sad song hamper your thinking pattern , behavior and so on and i stopped listening. A Simple trick:- But kabhi v if u feel sad because of sudden some flash back then i suggest listen ur fav sad song or something like that it will fulfill your sadness and after sometime u will completely move out from that zone. Warning ⚠ This trick should don't be used on daily basis.

She's right, when I had breakup I used to listen so many sad songs and it leads me to more depression and loneliness, observed my emotions and started writing journal on daily basis without fail, I stopped listening to music specially sad music, and it helped me so much. ❤
Arijit Singh ke gane best h they are not meant to make people sad but to feel the essence of music....uske lyrics aur bht kuch me to nhi hoti sad aur me to sunti rahungii chahe koi kuch bhi kahe😏
Other states 🤔🤔 I thought people from every state of India can understand Hindi. It's the first official language of India . And I thought Hindi movies and Hindi songs are famous in every state of India

Aap bahut khus hai lekin aapne bahut sad song suna toh ush time aap k mood mai thoda sa impact padhsakta hai lekin aap bahot dukhi ho toh aap naturally sad song hi sunte ho kyu ki ush gane ke through aap apna dukh prakat kar rahe ho isi liye aap aur halka feel karte ho ye aadi adhuri gyan de rahi hai express karna thik hai naki suppress karna
Seedhi si baat hai Bhai, dimaag ko training do strong rehne ki, agar songs aapka mood always kharab kr rhe toh i am sorry you are weak. So mast gaane sune and aish kro
One solution for most of the problems- Never be in relationship market. The actual mental peace where you divert your time and effort for something that have massive impact in progress of life. 👍
Jab Mai pehle depressed thi tab sirf depressed aur sad songs sunti thi but ab jab Mai depressed nahi hoon toh mai sad and depressing songs sun hi nahi sakti, sunne par rona aajata hai. It's like, now I am sensitive.
I listen to Hindi love songs and immediately it changes the way I think in a good way ofc and it definitely feels good and gives hope and otherwise i listen to fun songs punjabi or English
If you are depressed, traumatized or recently heart broken, then you should not listen to sad songs. You can listen gentle songs, energetic songs, happy songs instead. If you are not in the phase of depression or heartbreak or something like that, you can listen to sad songs, no problem.
@@meghdoot__ I'm heartbroken, recently she broke up with me as I don't have any job.. I'm still preparing to crack an exam but instead of supporting motivating she walks away from me.... I feel so sad and all the memories come into my mind ...
That's not true According to psychology. I watched a video from psych2go & it says that, if you listen sad songs, you'll feel that there's a lot of people like you, going through the same sadness, even the writer of that song. So please stop demotivating people in the name of motivation.
Also.... literally it's my person experience where i used to listen to sad songs so much and even get more depressed....i got out of it and stopped listening to such depressing music and started feeling much better....
You can't comment on it without being a psychologist. It's a relief yes , but a temporary one. Don't get in the loophole repeatedly that give you same manifestations of the sorrow , you start associating that negativity with your real situation and get in the zone of finding comfort in sadness which isn't healthy at all. So don't listen to demotivating things
lol, I'm a psychology student and she is saying is right. It is called as Operant conditioning, a type of learning concept. psych2go is fine channel but you have not understood anything. negative reinforcement makes a feedback system motivating person to listen, read more sad media.
Yes it's true that hearing sad songs make you feel more sad but at the same time it gives a pleasure it's once own way that how he/she get the songs meaning. Please don't say only about Arijit Singh's sad song there are many other singers in the industry who sings sad songs like- Sonu Nigam, Neha Kakkar, late Lata Mangeshkar etc. Arijit Singh was become famous for his romantic sad song in 2013 (Tum hi ho) Aashiqui 2 and we remember this movie cuz of this song.
Whenever I feel sad I listen metal and old American style rock music it gives me power and energy and feel like the main protagonist of the world who is currently in his dark arc which is the part of his character development 😤
I agree with her that listening to sad songs in traumatic times aggravates the situation and brings in more pain. But I completely disagree with her that if you are hurt from past relationship you think that the person/ cheater cheated because had different priorities in life. In reality it doesn't happen like this. People curse the cheaters and themselves. They distract and try to forget.
Mai toh inhe sab harkato ki wajah se songs sunna hi chod diya instead i would prefer satsang if you are hindu, aur quran verses, or guru vani, etc etc it makes you better at your relegion+ helps you make yourself a better version of you by setting a boundary line❤️❤️
