What's sadder is Brooke was beyond ecstatic when Luffy jumped on his ship. If his backstory is 1:1. This means that it is possible he was on the brink going insane from the 45+ years of loneliness and survivors guilt of being the only living member of his crew. No wonder he accepted Luffys' command to join them. The guy had nothing to lose. Except Laboon.
You cry over fictional characters and there 2 dimensional suffering. Every single op backstory is just insert sad thing here and that literally never goes further in most cases
No one ever talks about the fishman and Koala. Fisher tiger dying knowing he could've been saved was sad, only to come full circle with jinbei saving Luffy.
I feel like the pandemic truely put Brooks backstory in perspective. We were in lockdown for 2ish years and lost our collective minds over it, and we could leave our house with certain conditions. Brook was stuck in the same place for FIFTY years with no way of leaving! How he is not more crazy than he is now is a damn miracle to me!
Laboon (my opinion) is the saddest bro he got abandones by his friends and the way he cried when brooks crew didnt sing to me hit different and laboon has waited 50 years for his friends to come back😭
robin brook law (the lost everything trio) sanji chopper (the blue nose and the failure but was accept by a doctor and a chef) that is enough reason they are the 5 saddest backstory in one piecw
Brooks is the worst. Bro had to bury all of his friends, and that's everyone on the ship, then he has to sit there for years and also hide from the sun.
Feel bad for Rob Lucci he was not actually a villain by he was born to be assassinated because of the people who wanted them to do we have to show no emotions as a kid for me that's kind of sad since he can't show your true self
(Robin) ... She had to live all by herself starting at the age of 8 with an enormous bounty on her head while being targeted by the World Government for 20 years. She had no choice but to participate in various dark organizations to protect herself (evidently she had to follow orders against her will) She was betrayed most of the time by people around her. People would think that her mere existence was a crime. Robin even thought that she was prohibited from living her life let alone from wishing to be alive. Until now, the government wants her dead and others still just view her as a tool in deciphering poneglyphs. Losing everything while the world sees you as an enemy is a different kind of hell.
Where sanji my man was physically and mentally abused by his father and siblings don’t forget his mother the only person who cared for his wellbeing died 😥
Bruh! Chopper, Nami, and Sanji take the cake. I got misty with Nami, but Chopper and Sanji I legit had a tear drop. Can you imagine the pain of your loved ones NOT loving you or doing you wrong on such a level?
These backstories are sad but not sadder than your own dad and brothers beating you just because you were different and later locking you up. Sanji had the saddest backstory in my opinion
@@geekpieceofficial abandoning by strangers is one thing but abandoning by family is not easy at all.... imagine getting sentenced by your own father when you haven't done anything
I also have people who’s backstory was sad in my opinion the only people who broke me the most was doflamingo, sanji, big mom, laboon,señor pink,Nami, chopper, and the person who takes #1 is Momo
You forgot The story of Koala. For me that is one of the saddest story in one piece. And I agree about the stories from Robin, Brook and Law. But also had sad stories are Nami( she saw her mother Bellamere san gets murdered by arlong, Sanji who leaves his home because of his father, Chopper and you can go on go on. And what a meant to say is that saddnes is a feeling and in my opinion you cant compare the feeling of saddnes from person to person.
