I got a saddleback briefcase at the end of 2006. I use it almost everyday and it is still tough as nails. I had some of the hardware repaired during the pandemic and it was an easy process. It was all still under warranty and came back as good as new. I wish I would have bought a more neutral color so it would patina, but I'm happy with the chestnut color all these years later. I never worry about this bag and grab it every time. It has been all over the world too. I don't think I'll ever need a new briefcase. They are a lot more expensive now than they were when I bought mine in 2006. I would say they are still worth the price. I have had my eye on their suitcases, but have never made that purchase. Maybe someday.

Dang that’s amazing to hear!! That’s the best, building a story with the bag! You know editing this video I kinda wish I’d opted for the chestnut color haha, we always want what we didn’t get! Keep wearing it well brother!

You should also check out Bradley Mountain waxed canvas backpacks. Just as good, if not better than leather backpacks (all natural, breathability, durability, great patina, etc) and theirs are made in the USA. They even use Wickett and Craig harness leather for their straps. I’ve had mine for a few years now and I love it.
