Just think about to gain Quality life which is more of useful to the society. So for one katlet he used 1 whole cow and 1 small chicken. That means cow's beef is more useful compared to chicken. Either way both are going to die but the quality of use of their meet is always high for cow. So who's life do you think is useful or wasted in the society? You can be either a cow or a chicken.

It's like whether you are a Arjuna or a Duryodhana..Both will die. How you live is more important. In a way it's about don't restrict your life in garb of security. There is no security to life, how you live is more important.
