Sadhguru Explained Root chakra | Muladhara: The Foundation 

You know your root chakra is awakened when you have no more worries because you realize as long as you have food, water, and shelter you are okay.

This "enhanced perception" i felt before on accident twice. This is a very real feeling and it feels like your in a infinite void of nothingness which actually contains all of existence. This will be hard to grasp unless you experience it for yourself, so I strongly encourage all to keep practicing and do not give up.
