Saenchai(แสนชัย ส. คิงสตาร์) takes on Glory title challenger, Anvar Boynzarov in a kard chuek(only rope) fight at Thai Fight in Bangkok, Thailand.
Saenchai is a charismatic Muay Thai fighter who fights with an extremely tricky muay classic style. Saenchai is undoubtedly one of the greatest fighters ever. He has won Lumpinee titles at several different weight classes in Thailand and continues to fight above his natural weight even today at 40.
Boynazarov has amassed a record of over 100 fights, won the WMF world title twice and challenged for the Glory world title.

No no no, he IS the protagonist... look up who his mentor is and you will understand what I mean by this. The uncrowned king of muaythai because nobody wanted to lose to him, also recieved gold medal in boxing indirectly beating Floyd Mayweather jr (although I must admit Mayweather got robbed in the olympics. @@Hrodric yeah dancing helps. I don't really take dance class but I learned a lot of footwork from dancers. I'm always inspired by Ali's dancing in the ring while training.

Thats how he always fights, and I think thats how you stay most relaxed and calm in the moment. If you're with a killer mentality its much more narrow mind state and if you're stiff then technique becomes stiff too.

The difference im sure we all notice is that local thai fighters start slow and finish hard and most the time it looks like their losing the first 2 rounds but they increase their pace as the fights goes on. Contrast to that, foreign thai fighters (us, europe, middle east etc) always start strong trying to knock the thai guy out but they become increasingly more gassed out as the fight goes the distance

Both fighters are physically strong, however Sanchai dominated Anvar in this match, there was not a single moment where he was at risk, he was untouchable and for Sanchai this is like a routine exercise. He did show his experience, skills and speed and that made all the difference. It was like a master and a student lesson in Muay Thai. Anvar could learn a lot by watching Sanchai fights.

Anvar was a very good fighter, Saenchai was just better, Saenchai also enjoyed challenges to keep him from getting bored, he even applauded Anvar on his attempted scissor's kick, if Anvar reviewed this fight later he might agree with the decision.

@@tawan36 the thing is about technique amd skills Heavier dudes can have good speed amd that can be a problem. Big one. I am shorter, but I dont know I usually am faster than my taller buddies since even though we do the same workouts. That speed plus head movement's helped me a lot in sparring sessions -closing the range and evading jabs.

He is fighting , you can see Thai Fight on you tube and on Face book live from Thailand. You can watch Muay Thai hard core on Saturday and Muay Thai super champ on Sunday morning around 7 or 8 on east coast. I believe Saenchai is fights one every month on Thai fight With no gloves. You just typing THAI FIGHT.

Listen to your bloody corner then dude!! Don’t look all disappointed at the end when you didn’t try any other strategies. The cornerman knows that the right kick is a must against a tricky southpaw. He calls for it over and over again but get ignored. You get a chance to fight a legend and you don’t even listen to your trainers. But i understand it’s hard when you are out there.

@@Crowlo17 Those are not MMA gloves mate. Those are ROPES. This is traditional Kard Chuek, those things can slice you open if you aren't careful or if the opponent really wants to hurt you bad. Shit, in the old days there are stories of Thai's mixing shards of glass in the rope for the bouts with rival gyms. I'm talking like 60 years back or more.

Not for money mate - He always said his life is dedicated to spreading Muay Thai across the world and it's the number 1 thing he enjoys, he is referring to fighting. He's 40 now and only fighters foreigners - top level fighters but not The elite Thai Circuit lads, they're too good for him now. You can see him sparring them though, that's always fun. I think he's still got a few solid years of fun in the ring before they call it quits for real.

Lol when Thai fighters make the crossover to Glory, it's pretty likely they'll become the new champ. When Glory fighters do the same, they get schooled. Props for trying though...
