I feel so helpless and angry when I hear stories like this. You deserve every good thing. I am applauding you because you have such a big heart. Remember, people like you encourage people like me to be brave too. Thank you Philip. Well done 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍

Not all people are resillient, some people who suffer that kind of abuse, goes under I'm afraid.

What's sad earlier, Nobody was there for him at that time to help him when he really needed them. If he had somebody then, perhaps he Could've got out of that family home much sooner. People who came from that toxic family environment Would've end up bitter , Jealous & Resentment of other people having a kind family environment, & having fun. That's the problem, when people who's living in that toxic environment feels Resentment towards other people, cause they have got what poor Philip hasn't got, a kind loving supportive family . That's what PTSD does to people living in such bad family environment.
