Well, If you'd categorise it, Games actually utilize all your cores, if not at the same time but during the whole process, all of your cores are utilized. Some games function at single core performance like Valorant and some function at all core performance like Fortnite and GTA. I hope it helps you.
@BareFox Running the 5900x and just running at 1900, would you suggest this will be fine without the need to run your optimizations? Every time i got to one of the servers its bein hit with malware protection or dangerous link protection. Hence why im only asking for suggestive advice on half the video.
is this a one time process or we have to do it daily before playing games?? nd i hve ryzen 3400g and planning to purchase 3600..is it worth it?? (gpu rtx 2060 and motherboard asus ex-a320m)
dram overclocking is unnecessary, xmp/expo will do you a LOT better in terms of longevity with only a few % less performance compared to manual DRAM OC
7:20 I tried setting it to 1900 and clicked test and apply and now my PC wont boot anymore, I have a 3950x and very good cooling. I only get a blackscreen now.
I saw another video about it before where i undervolted my cpu, is it fine to undervolt and overclock cpu at the same time or any one should be applied at a time
bro when i stress tested it was stuck on restart thing on blue screen when i turned of pc and then turned on agan it was showing a light on cpu in motherboard then i had to remove cmos what is this?
Bro can you help me with my Ryzen 7 5700x? what would be the best settings for overclock? i have Ryzen 7 5700x MSI B550m mortar max wifi Deepcool ak620 (cooler) rx 7800xt XFX Qick @1080p I want to overclock it due to bottleneck.
7:10 setting the memory clock to 1900 MHz is stupid. It has to run in sync with the infinity fabric clocks which AMD ryzen (like any other cpu) can only run up to about 1800 MHz. Running these to speeds asynchronous will introduce a lot of latency since the RAM and I/O die are not in sync
for the curve optimizer mode when i clicked on the All cores setting and clicked start optimizing, my pcs fans starting getting loud like it was about to fly is that normal? cause i quickly canceled the optimization when that started happening XD
yo i followed every step, after i did memory clock to 1700 it crashed and it gave me DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error and i cant fix it can i get some help pls :< Ryzen 7 3700x and Gb B450m gaming motherboard i cant enter bios nor use winre because my keyboard and mouse doesn't work winre gave me 0x0000225 error any help is apreciated
@@SuccessMindsetGrow thanks for reply, i did reset my bios, still have problems to start autorepair or start safe mode to change master settings from there, i'm in a loop with lO1_INITIALIZATION_FAILED error.
Could you elaborate why all core offset is better for gaming? I think you switched those 2 up; I am no expert and i thank you for your video. Copilot Sent by Copilot: For gaming performance, individual core tuning (offset per core) tends to be more effective than an all-core offset. Here’s why: Individual Core Tuning: Adjusting voltages for specific cores allows you to optimize performance where it matters most. Some cores may require less voltage than others, leading to better thermals and stability. Games often benefit from faster single-threaded performance, which individual tuning can enhance. All-Core Offset: While it simplifies settings, it might not fully exploit the CPU’s potential. All cores receive the same offset, which may not be ideal for gaming workloads
As I mentioned games which are dependent on GPU functions better on All Core Offsets and CPU dependent games like Valorant works better on per-core offset. Hope it helps.
Hey, I ma having issues with the AMD Ryzen Master App once open it says Initializing which is good but then it just closes and does nothing idky this is happening I have a AMD Ryzen 9 5950x
6:50 are you serious? 💀 blud you are doing an oc\optimization video and don't know what this is??? this is very very very bad advice... this should be set half your ram speed so if 3600mhz ram than 1800mhz...
I agree with you but newer generation motherboard allows us to push some limits instead of general limits. That's why you can perform a stress test until your screen goes black. In 15 seconds the settings will be reverted and you'll restore your old settings without any damage. After that you can set your limit around 100 lower than your danger limit and use your processor with the best performance!
Help, I increased my memory clock from 1500 to 1600 and it passed. Then I did it from 1600 to 1700 and when my PC restarted it never turned back on. My PC is turned on but my monitor is not capturing anything and my keyboard is not turned on either. Any help????
i had the same problem all i did was reset cmos and figured out it was my ram. all i did was take out all 4 of my ram stick. and what i did was take a regular pencil eraser and erase on the pins of the ram sticks for all 4 on both sides and make sure you seat them correctly then it will boot like normal that worked for me anyway hopefully that helps out
