safer solutions conductive paint correct way to use 

let's say for a moment I want to apply the conductive paint with a brush to the object - but I do not want brush strokes visible...(I've tried airbrushing this stuff, thinned down with acetone (1:4)...and I ALWAYS get a grainy texture. Electroplating this will result in a grainy finish...ugly as hell!). What should I try next?
