This safe room theme feels uneasy and twisted, but it’s still the one sign of relief and hope compared to the rest of the halls of the madhouse. Like a “take your time, but you’ll have to go back out there sooner or later.”
From what the director wanted from the themes was a calming safe feeling but as you listen carefully a fleeting safety life what nightmare you may encounter in the hallways
I Like This Music. The way you feel safe when you enter that room. But you can't stay there forever. At some time you're going to have to leave the safe room and face the monsters waiting outside in order to escape and survive this nightmare.
@@Alexmar345 he doesn't, right as you enter a safe room, he walks away until you come back. This was made like this to make the game more fair. Imagine you leave a safe room and jack standing there and kills you. Unfair.
i swear this game just gained a place in my heart forever... even this soundtrack. Everything about it it's so beautiful... yet depressing. I hope someday we get to see zoe baker in the series once more
I swear it feels like yesterday when I was getting excited to explore the open area after I unlocked the outside section. Can't believe it's been that long, mannn
I love how unsettling it still sounds despite it being a safe room, everytime I entered yeah I felt a hint of safety and relief but I always felt like I’m still being watched in this house of horrors and terrors, and then I know I’ll eventually leave that room and go back into this freaky nightmare
Yeah me too. He didn't even have to die though like it was a remote xplosive he could ajvevjsur exploded it from the plane that's literly the whole point of a remote explosive. Kind of a dumbest but yes a great protgaonist
This music didn't just save you from the evil.. it truly saved my soul. Life was dark at this point. I can't explain what I feel when I hear this or play the game.... just a sense of hope
@@synthvvavve191 yeaaaaahhhh, I don’t think it is better than RE7, RE4, or RE2. Its a good game and I like how it tried new stuff like with the more open hub, but I just love and feel way more immersed with the games I just mentioned
@@Trick_rex I thought it was good but the story line went off topic for a few minutes but it connected and just hit me later, sad ending still urk me lol. But I agree with you. I'd give it an 8/10. Lol better than R.E 5 and 6, we don't talk about them
As someone who's played every RE game in the series, and who's personal favorites are the RE1 remake and RE4, I gotta say- Out of all the fantastic save room themes in the series, this one manages to be my favorite. It perfectly captures the feeling of temporary safety, with the lingering dread of having to emerge from it and face the challenges ahead again. It just perfectly captures the feeling of: "You're safe, for now."
Amazing piece of music. It evokes the bayou with it's murky beauty, the hopelessness of Ethan's situation, the melancholy of a family torn apart… I was disappointed not to hear the classic piano ambience of old when I played 7 for the first time, now this is my favourite Save Room theme by some stretch.
ive always liked RE but it was never a franchise that had me dying for it it gets a bit repetitive after a while , but when i played this , THIS IS MY SHIT RIGHT HERE. , ive always liked first person horror games and i think this change of scenario and aesthetic really has pulled tye franchise up in my opinion , i dont even see this game as RE most of the time is just ethan story to me
@@EvanAgredano I’ve never played but from what I can gather it’s the kind of game where you feel let down by the over the top action instead of actual scares but you can’t get mad when your hero straight up punches a Boulder twice his size into a lava river
this theme kind of reminds me of it telling you.. “youre safe in here. but whatevers out there is still there, you can either hide forever or face your fear” i just got RE7 yesterday and im dreading it
The whole entire game is a vibe. Fits the atmosphere and what hides behind thos doors from the Baker's house. Its paradise, horror and fear of the unknown that is together with this song and that leads to perfection.
I love RE7, probably my favorite RE game ever for the experience I had when it first came out. I was in 9th grade while being depressed and lonely, sitting on the ground playing RE7 kept me away from those feelings. It will forever be in my memory
clear chords being strung to attempt putting a together a melody to soothe the chaotic mess you're in, yet the distorted music that goes along with it is clear, there's entities beyond your reasoning that you can't comprehend that will mutilate you even in death, yet you still press on knowing of what's to come.
wish this game was longer especially the house/boat, both could of been expanded upon massively. playing as mia with very little gear was quite spooky.
I never dared to actually play it until January this year and I’m so glad I did. Maybe me buy every single resident evil game and finish them sll in like a week lol. No playing the beauty of 4 Remake.
I've been looking for this song for over 2 years, FINALLY, I could never figure out where it came from and when reverse searching it, nothing came up, now my mind's finally at peace lol.
This hit different when I listened to this on a warm breezy day omw to school near the end of year 9 and it hits way harder now that I'm associating this with such a memory
I think that the save rooms and the house mirror the bakers there's this big moldy house full of murder being what the bakers currently are and then there's the save rooms which are sort of like who they are actually like deep down
I met RE series with 7 Biohazard and that's the definition of perfection. The theme has a soul, meloncholy, hopelesness goes perfect with such a wonderful game. This game is one of the best games I've ever played; unique puzzles, athmosphere, mysteries, map design, story, story pace, storytelling, sound design...
I haven't played much Resident Evil games, but I'm on my first playthrough of 2make, 1make, and on my second of 7. And holy god. I never feel so safe being in a save room. But this. This makes me feel insanely safe.
To Smoke, The OG DayZ god tier Chad of the snowy wonderland all the way to the dense hardwood forest's. Your a great streamer and a great person. Love this intro, this song was perfect in painting a picture of who you are through music. Lots of love from Canada 🇨🇦
This song reminds me of the first smoke stream I ever watched, this song was playing and I was drinking coffee on a cold winter morning... it was very cozy and now I get all nostalgic when I hear this soundtrack
