I can think of several brands of DE blade razors that give a cartridge like shave (mild-no cuts). Leaf Razor, High Proof, Leaf Twig, Henson Al13. There are others but I can't think of the others off the top of my head.
Completely disagree with your statement that safety razors don’t shave as close as a cartridge razor. The resulting shave from a safety razor can last 2, maybe even 3 days depending on your hair type. A cartridge razor will struggle to leave the skin feeling smooth even 12 hours post-shave. Try a razor such as a Blackland Blackbird, or a Timeless, etc and tell me you still feel a Mach 3 gives a closer shave.
Very bad company. They send the product without taking responsibility if it never arrives like in my case. I spent 50 dollars on a product that never arrived and they don't give you your money back. Think about it before buying from these people.
Why switch in my case? I never had ingrown hair or irritation and I prefer not to go against the grain 🤷🏻♂️ I simply don't buy the claim that cutting the hair slightly UNDER the skin level will deliver a LESS smooth shave than the DE cut AT skin level. If cost is the only advantage left for me, then why switch? A hundred dollars more a year are worth the greater convenience, for me. It would be different if the DE shave were ACTUALLY smoother than the cartridge, but I simply don't buy that, sorry 🤷🏻♂️
Don't be sorry, if that's your experience that that's that. But just because it's your experience doesn't mean it's everyones experience. I personally think exactly the opposite, as well as many others. So you do you, doesn't matter to anyone else.
Let's focus on specific goals: my initial post commented that my goal is a smoother skin after the shave. There can only be one truth. We can have two different opinions, and that's fine, but there can only be one truth. Either one system cuts the hair under the skin level, and the other ones doesn't, or not. If one does cut the hair below the skin level, then that hair will take longer to return to the same length. The skin is smoother, for longer. I would be *_HAPPIER_* if I were wrong, because I would switch immediately, and have a smoother skin. But, unfortunately, I haven't ever seen a test, side by side, all other variables being equal, where the DE delivers a smoother skin after the shave. It's a fact, not so opinion 🤷🏻♂️
@@tommasosantojanni At which point in the video have I ever mentioned the safety razor will provide smoother feeling skin? I haven't. in fact, quite the opposite. So I'm not quite sure where your original argument even came from. I'm saying that just because you haven't experienced issues with ingrowns or irritation doesn't mean nobody else has with multi-blade razors.

@@tommasosantojanni Ah I see, I definitely wasn't implying they would experience a closer shave, but a more comfortable shave. I assumed that was your argument because at no point did I say the safety razor would ever give a smoother shave than cartridge.
I've used several high-quality safety blades, they all dull before I finish shaving! I literally toss each blade out after 2-shaves maximum!! 4-blades I've lasted over a month! I have to lean to multi-blade as it's a faster shave I think. Quality of shave neither is a clear winner. Even for price I don't see a clear benefit of a safety razor.
