i like more saga frontier battle theme

I really like the way this sounds just like something that saga frontiers composer would have made. I also appreciate how it reminds me of romancing sagas composer

​@@zalden2565they are the same composer. Kenji Ito is the master of battle dances.

@@MrPSaun is that why it also reminds me of FFL2’s composer and perhaps even scarlet graces?? 😳😁

@zalden2565 Yup! FFL2 was a joint project for between Ito and Uematsu, but Ito composed the legendary battle theme. Scarlet Grace is completely Ito's own work, and some of his best. Emerald Beyond is turning out to maybe be even better.

Octopath is a SaGa game with 5 layers of coolness removed

@@dawggydawgtown ikr I wanted octopath to be more saga so bad, but I can't completely hate on it.

I don’t think octopath has many similarities with SaGa other than several protagonists to be chosen in any order, but even at that the execution is way different

Taking into account that I didn't like too much the exploration of MS and always get lost in SF1... and also the fact that I loved SaGa Scarlet Grace, I think SaGa Emerald Beyond merges elements from the three games in a very good way honestly. Personally, is getting near to be my 3rd favorite SaGa game (1st being RS2 and 2nd being SaGa Scarlet Grace).

If you want to play a real SaGa game, wait for the upcoming Romancing SaGa 2 remake.
