is it nesesarry to replace 3bar map sensor???and can i just tune it with neptune because the budget...my spec.apexi turbo kit from integra...560cc injector evo...low comp forged piston..engine is b16a with itr cam complete...pls someone...cause the hondata s300 so expensive in my country
Depends on your motor but honda engines are built like tanks and can handle a good amount of power. most can handle at most 10 psi of boost if your motor is healthy. But the reliability depends on who tunes your car, if they're experienced with hondas then your motor will last as long as you don't beat on it too much. For example, my ej7 has a stock b16a with 80k miles making about 250whp on a ebay turbo kit lol
Do you have arp head stud? Or are you a complete bone stock b16 with stock compression? And how long would it last you? Sorry for all the question I plan to go turbo soon just want to know from someone who had the experience thanks
This a completely stock engine, inside out, you name it, beside the turbo that is on. Well since the day it was tune, we just had trouble with the turbo fluttering. So we switched out the bov and newer thrbo at 11lbs
is it all stock??or any internal engine part that have been replace???cause I have b16a..planning on boost...but they said it will have problem in back day..
mohd noor low boost and tune yes of course. but i've personally never done this before. if you check out my other video, i have a all motor b20v. this b16 turbo is my brother's. but from what i've been hearing around, you can push these in the 300whp (if you push it). but i like to be on the safe side so i normally upgrade internals. but my brother just wanted to toss in a turbo and tune that's all. nothing serious with this car.
good job to you and your bro....with anytg stock....im interested to boost my b16a eg9...but im afraid..cause here the mechanic said it would not safe for a long term....hurm..so shame on me....
