You know. I’ve ALLWAYS kinda hated Honda’s and I feel like people may hate this too. As a kid I was taught they are the riciest think out there. But I just bought a 2000 Honda Civic and I gotta day after studying about all the engines and shit. These things are so cool. Mines a d16y8. And it’s just so much fun. And I feel like idk people who hate Honda’s really shouldn’t knock them till they try em.
Jeffrey Kenny I’m vw for life for over 20yrs, so you know the hate between the 2 groups. I can’t believe I’m saying that it’s tempting because 500hp in a vw costs a fortune, but I did. Maybe I can swap one in a rabbit, and use an old vw valve cover glued to the top to fool them.
honda makes good stuff we use thier engines all the time in the fire industry and i pretty much just helped a 17 year old kid put one together its crazy how much knowledge hes gained over the build

My dad got me into hondas but I lost enthusiasm for hondas because of all the hate surrounding it and people calling it rice. But now I see these incredible builds made by other people that relit the fire of my enthusiasm for hondas.
This was one of my first Honda’s and I still miss it to this day. I got my hands on a si-r two years ago with low mileage as my daily and I’m going to the grave with it
Great little machines, I had a couple eg/efs over the yrs. Looks great, non molested body and interior wise. Heavy durometer mounts are must or a custom “stiffie” would help with traction as well.
Man alot of people had something to say about ebay turbos. But shit in 2004 my gsr hatch with ebay turbo put out 515whp on 20lbs. Now with technology shit i can see ebay turbo pushing out 700hp. Last but not least the FARMTRUCK DIDNT WANT ANY SAUCE FROM HUMBLE 💯💯

I would say turn the boost down to save the motor and quit wasting tires.......but it's whatever makes you happy because it's your build. Love it, congratulations brother.
Doesn’t matter how rich you are. If you are a true car enthusiast, you got to appreciate Honda’s and their vast modified community. And much respect to people who learn to work on their cars. Had many cars in my life, but the Honda EF and Honda CB7 I owned feel the most special as they are attached with so many good memories that comes with being young and carefree. Love all cars in general, but Honda’s will always be special.
I miss my crx so bad i gotta get another one i had swapped a jdm d15b vtec from hmotors into it and it was pretty quick i loved that thing started a family and sold it for family car but im ready to get a side chick lol and start rex project
