Wow I remember when you only had 4k subscribers, congratulations keep moving forward. Great video ,your going to so many new places. Thanks for sharing 👍
Awesome video just found your channel. Can I ask you where do you find your clear frame glasses at? Are there any special brand name? Your glasses look sharp. 👍
I think you thought like me Terry as soon as he got your luggage on his bike he’d just ride off with it 😂😂but Sue’s niece has just been to Saigon travelling and she said it was amazing with such nice people
You met a Canadian! Btw, the pod is so cozy. It has all the amenities and it only costs you 20 bucks. That is how much i paid for half-day parking. Crazy cheap.
Ooh, you had Hu Tieu Nam Vang which is one of my favourite Vietnamese soup noodles. You are so lucky. Btw, Vietnam and Bangkok are hot at the moment. I am so sorry you had to walk and carry all your luggage under the heat.
Thanks for introducing the Arrivals hotel..It's indeed the best view of Saigon & rooftop bar..for $20 it's a steal... Can you do the bar girls? You can't skip it as traveling alone ...Watch out for the scammers on the street..they may see you as walking ATM
Barefoot giving new meaning to "Pod Casting" lol Twenty bucks is a helluva deal If that same set up was on a Disney property it would be 2K per night I kept waiting for Capt Kirk to beam in...haha. I will say it again my friend you are living the dream.
Terry, before watching this video I would never consider staying at a hostel or capsule hotel (and I kinda still won't). However, I really appreciated this video. The capsule actually was not bad at all, and the staff was friendly and professional, and the property seemed to have nice amenities. Do you think you would go stay there again if/when you go back to Thailand? Thanks again for the great content.
Great question. Yes! Absolutely. It was safe, comfortable, I got a great shower and good night's sleep for 20 bucks. It's a good break from the hotels and airbnbs.
You didn't spend $20 USD per night because it's illegal to trade in US currency in Vietnam. Why don't you tell people what you paid in VND? Talk in local currencies man.
I think you overpaid for the capsule hotel tbh. I think you probably overpaid for all of your hotels is my guess because in South Asia the best prices are had in-person. You can save 30-40% on avg
If 20 bucks is overpaying I'll take it. Here, just a swim in the pool would cost more. Also, in-person prices are lower but you run the risk there's no availability when you get there--especially on the weekend (just saw this happen to another vlogger). Running all over town with my bags to find a room...no thanks.
09:00 you said, the value of that bowl? that bowl has like almost NO meat for 75K, I hate when they ALWAYS *double* charge foreigner, I'm pretty sure they've done that. That waiter would earns about 250K/day (MAX), so his salary can only buy 3 of those noodle soup that you had, was that reasonable price with VALUES, there was like NO meat in that bowl(that bowl cost about 40K MAX) only 2 shrimps and you called that VALUES, LOL
