Thanks, Magnus! We actually aren't sure how the name 'Statia' came about. Most of the people who live on island refer to it as Statia so we started calling it the same! You are the second or third person who has asked about a video on our dive compressor so we will get that episode in the works! But the quick summary is we love it and it's one of the best add ONS we have on the boat. I'll have to go back and look at the records about how much it cost us to stay in Statia for 9 weeks.....but we did include it in the video when we checked out and paid our 'tab' so you might have your answer already!

@@SailingOneLife OK awesome looking forward to it. The advice was not given to get more viewers. Doing a bit of research it is a question a lot of people have but the answers are not so many nor of any good quality. Did you "battleship" your youtube channel yet? What it means is to analyze your results. RU-vid will get you some results but there are things RU-vid do not take into consideration. Something I noticed with other sailing channels is that they tend to have much more viewers if visiting a place of the beaten cruiser path. Examples are when Delos visited Agalega & St Brandon or Chagos, I remember Vagabonde went somewhere a beat rare too and they had double the amount of views than normal. I can see that most likely your Sint Estatius and Saba videos will probably give more than St Lucia. The travel destinations is just an example. There might be other things to trigger new viewers to your channel who later deceide to start viewing weekly.

@@SailingOneLife OK on Statia. Yes, you mentioned how much, $200 something it costed to be at ancor. But if that we including all fees or not, I dont know.

No we have not battleshipped our channel. First time I've heard of this, I'll look into it. Thank you! Yes, it is definitely good to go off the beaten path to places others haven't been. We do have a bit of that coming up, so we hope you enjoy some of the less traveled islands we stop at! We also enjoy the places less traveled! They are always our favorites.

There are a few banks that offer zero international transaction fees and ATM reimbursements with their checking accounts. TD Bank is another good one.
