Great trip girls and happy belated birthday Lauren. Bri by the time I've posted this you will have already done it or it's too late. The reel that is sticking, a Penn I believe, take it apart and clean the primary gear and the smaller gears touching it and of course along with everything else in the housing. Re pack it with grease and fish on. The sticking is the first and only hint you will have that it's about to seize up. I had to replace the main gear on one of my Penn spinning reels a couple of years ago. Now I have another new main gear setting on the shelf waiting for me to replace the same gear in another Penn spinning reel. It stuck and instead of reaching for a second reel I forced it and broke the gear. Ended up reaching for the second reel anyways.

@BA Fishing: Bri - I feel your pain and grief. I lost my mother only 2 weeks ago (3 months shy of 81) - it still hurts like flipping heck. What makes it worse was the fact I work front-line in a hospital cleaning team, and never got to see her after she moved from Victoria, Australia, to New South Wales (also Australia of course). Due to this rotten covid stuff, and the fact she was starting in aged care for advanced MND, I couldn't attend, as anything I might be immune to could easily devastate folks with respiratory issues (my Mum had issues with talking and swallowing, which made me high risk). So the last time I saw her was just over 2 years ago. I'm getting a handle on the grief, but it's gonna take a long time to get through it. So I feel your pain, but it is really, really good to see you up and about again. You're a bit further down the healing process than I am, and I am so very happy to see your smiling face, and to hear you excited giggles and girly squeals again. Keep up the magnificent content - stay safe, warm, and happy pretty lady!👍❤ Heart- felt hugs and best wishes from Sydney, Australia. yay you posted a video!!!! life is good again!!! i am so sorry for your loss. great video as always missed your wonderful positive vibes! some advice you should put some medical tubing on that gaff thats going crazy while you drive your sea doo. im sure you can get some for free when you go into work. a couple years back my buddy lost his eye on his kayak from that same thing. he hit a wave just right and it got him real good in the eye. The motion of the wave made a ripping type action so it was to far gone. please please dont do what he did and ruin your beautiful face/eyes!!! stay safe out there and tight lines!!!
