As I watch a few things come to mind. 1. I'm losing my desire to make such a passage through the ice. :-) 2. I'm wondering also whether global warming is making this northern passage more passable. 3. I know they made all of that passage but 100 miles. I wonder if anybody else has done it without having to be lifted out of the water or not.
That’s all a question of luck, some other boats did it waiting for 1-2-3 years, Clark was prepared to spend the winter there, but the Canadians didn’t like it. So their only problem was, they didn’t go into the books of records
