The sailing cargo Vessel Kwai arrives outside the reef of Pukapuka. Not many travelers have the opportunity to visit this enchanted remote atoll, and tourism is basically non existent. The quaint island community has developed quite the charm unlike most places I have experienced. After drama with the engine quitting on our ride in and nearly washing up on the reef, I meet the mayor of the island and he shows me to my lovely beach front accommodation. I have discovered paradise once again!
