Usually the boat is heeled over and presents a sharp V to oncoming waves. At times, it's not as smooth a ride as a rounded hull but never bone jarring. I think the long and narrow waterline helps it slice rather than slap the water.
@@SimonLew Very cool boat. I also sail a cat ketch (Core Sound 20.3). I sailed in the Indian River this year, but was too scared to go through Sebastian Inlet!
