Thanks, Simon! Don't know him personally. I just saw the his short video of his Fat-Cat, one of my favourite designs for a first build.

Usually the boat is heeled over and presents a sharp V to oncoming waves. At times, it's not as smooth a ride as a rounded hull but never bone jarring. I think the long and narrow waterline helps it slice rather than slap the water.

Love those Egrets. What are the tabernakles made out of. They look good.

@@SimonLew Very cool boat. I also sail a cat ketch (Core Sound 20.3). I sailed in the Indian River this year, but was too scared to go through Sebastian Inlet!

@@amo757 Core Sounds are great boats. The inlet can get hairy if the ocean is up.
