Hey everyone! Today I'm unboxing the new Sakuramochi pen from Sailor's Japanese Sweets lineup. I'll also compare to some other similar colored pens so you can get an idea of the color. I think this one has really photographed a bit odd and it was hard to get a sense of what the pen was going to look like. We'll also ink it up! Thanks for watching :)

Thank you for sharing! I wanted to see how different the Sakura Mochi is from the Manyo Nuts. I think I'll need both in my collection hehe 🌰🧡🌸🍡

Beautiful! 😍 I love olive greens and I did expect it to be similar to Nuts, but it's nice in its own way. I am waiting on Yoseka to restock Sailor Tuzu, myself. 😁

I actually preordered a Tuzu I don’t think they’ve come in anywhere yet.

@@the_stationery_writer Now that I think about it, that makes a lot of sense. I'm usually late to these things and was under the impression I missed out on the first batch 🥴. May I ask where you preordered from and what estimated arrival you have? Thanks!

I pre-ordered from EndlessPens but their preorder is sold out currently. I honestly still don’t know when I’ll get it haha it seems like this pen got delayed or something because it originally said May on the Sailor website. I would just sign up for the stock notice on Yoseka.

@thestationeaywriter i love your green Sailor pens, which is your favourite? And mind sharing the Kraft Traveler’s notebook card number which holds your ink swatches please I’d love to get acquainted with the booklet, I’ve received my first Midori Tn notebook last week

Sure thing! It’s the “craft card file” the number is 028. Congrats on your Travelers Notebook and welcome to the community 🙂 it’s such a wonderful creative tool. My favorite of the greens is probably still the Dragon Palace. Partially because I have some kind of bond with that pen, it was my first Sailor.
