Moon Gorgeous Meditation was just on another level. It was snappy, less dancing and more camera work, the poses and the music were great... it's the most badass that Sailormoon has ever been. But Moon Tiara Action has to be the most charming of them all. Like it has a certain stardust that the rest don't have.
4:15 The transition from "stage out" to Starlight Honeymoon was so good! But Moon Gorgeous Meditation will always be my favorite! The music, flow of animation, the split/triple screens, the intensity of Sailor Moon's aura/face, the colors! Perfection!
This is where the villain is given an opportunity to run for their lives. But for some reason they choose to watch Sailor Moon do her poses until she is finished and do her attack.
My thoughts are that the villain might be hypnotized in some trance when she performs the sequence leading up to the attack which explains why they don't flee for cover.
@@CincyRaz that is the case as several times in the movies they fire off attacks instantaneously without all the powering up we see And in the Manga it's instant as well Same with the transformations they are near instant but we see it slowed down Honestly they take long in the show so as to fill out the time required of a weekly episode kinda thing
Okay the last one give me goosebumps I absolutely love the cute jingle and music along with it it just makes the best touch to how strong she is and she came a long way.
Great video. Truly shows the evolution and the budget different of each attack and the style of the series so much. You can see little Usagi carrying herself more and more like a queen as times goes by :'). Her Moon Spiral Heart Attack would always be like the strongest, imagine being crushed by a Giant Heart. The pain is too much to handle. But the other attacks are all good as well. Moon Tiara Action music is my favorite.
Yeah, well tbh I fell like moon gorgeous meditation is the most violent (in my opinion) because imagine someone points a magical rod at you that shoots glass- but with anime logic I agree with u
There are a few attacks missing: 1) moon tiara stardust 2) mon healing escalation with legendary silver crystal 3) moon gorgeous meditation with Chibiusa (from super S movie) 4) and one of my favourites - moon tiara action performed with pizza from Sailor Stars
You are correct, in order to fit them all on one screen some cuts had to be made...but I agree with you that moon pizza action is one of the best and I almost put it in here as a joke. Now I wish I had!
And moon crystal power in R to turn back human the 4 sisters ;) Moon gorgeous Meditation with Chibiusa is not stock footage. But the first version of Moon Gorgeous mediation is also missing and is one :)
They hit the peak with Rainbow Moon Heart Ache, somehow managed to barely top it with Moon Gorgeous Meditation, and then realized there's no way to go from there so they just gave up with Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss and Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss. LOL
It didn’t seem like they had a low budget back then for stars, I imagine the gorgeously animated feathers took tons of labour and time. How did they end up giving the most uncreative boring make up and attack sequences that season (and from this video I realised it’s even longer than all other attacks)? Which was the finale and it was meant to be the best.
I never thought of this before but the super form for sailor moon was so unstable. The chalice was limited time use, and when she used Pegasus energy she could attack without mini-moon. What happened there?!
Silver Crystal Power Kiss is kind of tragic because it’s the only one where SM looks truly sad that she’s doing it. All the others she looks determined but this is the only one where she seems to be just hurt….
