In terms of value of money, Aldi and Lidl take a lot of beating. Then comes Iceland. Then on par Tesco and Asda (Tesco of late have become more value of money). Then Morrisons then Sainsburys And far behind Waitrose. We have a big Waitrose and Sainsburys in my area but we never shop there. We largely shop at Tesco, Iceland and Aldi, each being better for certain type of produce. As for our local Sainsburys, they would have their work cut out to compete for value for money with Aldi.
@@malcolmabram2957 no if an idiot preaches their nonsense, superior brains can respond and put them in their place. Don't throw a grenade in a China shop for no reason hun.
I remember Candi Staton from my misspent youth 😉 My son and I have discovered many new artists from tv ad music... Couldn't care less what the ads are selling though 🤣 x
Sainsbury's food prices clearly a store that is devoted to the supremely rich I wonder if readers are aware Sainsbury's chief executive last year receiving 3.8 million for his largely 9-5 position throughout the year what about the youngest staff on the shop floor who are being paid an insult of a wage aren't they the ones who earning the chief executive his wage this is why people on benefits low earners the disadvantaged and even the middle class simply cannot afford to shop at these stores...
Nature provides us with enough food for every living creature on the planet. Farmers and supermarkets have the responsibility of growing, harvesting and distributing it responsibly. Billions of pieces of single-use plastic from each supermarket. Abusive and polluting factory farming. Selling products tested on animals and burning the rainforest for palm oil or soya. Use of sweat-shop factories. Clearly the food industry is not doing its job properly. Governments should legislate on these issues before it is too late. Sainsburys are responsible as one of the UKs largest retailers, and should stop operating its business in such a dark, horrible and destructive manner.
Question: why is Sainsbury (1) advertising Aldi? (2) not forcing their prices down so low that Aldi will have to price match? In fact, why are ALL the major supermarket chains doing the same bloody thing? It's almost like someone is complete taking the piss. Sainsbury has more than enough clout to sell goods cheaper than Aldi but chooses to peg their prices with the Germans.
But they raised prices on certain products to match aldi lol. Then there's the terrible way they treat staff. They've began putting new employees on 4 week rolling contracts. They haven't been given a meaningful pay rise in, I believe 10p per hour in the last 2 years. While they reap big profits. Shame on sainsburys, I will stick to aldi thank you.
