I spent 5 month and 2 weeks in St Lucia in total and love my parents country of birth. Marsha is rough but it all depend on who you are as to how safe you will be in Castries.

Your observations and descriptions are excellent, accurate, and I would tell anybody who sees your video that everything you say is valuable advice. There are also many other activities you can do. There is ziplining, horseback riding, atv rides, kayaking, snorkeling, scuba diving, among others. Two other great view points are at Moule La Chique in Vieux Fort and Morne Le Blanc in Laborie

We stayed at hotel Bel Jou. It was all inclusive. Unfortunately, I don’t have much information about other hotels But You can contact Pecko on (758) 384-5065 via WhatsApp . He was our taxi driver and guide for the day tour of rest of the Saint Lucia 🇱🇨. He can guide you about hotels 🏨 He is very nice and reliable

It depends on how long you want to stay there and the places you want to visit. Overall, in my opinion it is not worth driving. It’s not just the side of the road you’re driving but the size of the road and the dangers involved
@@RakeshShahMD yeah I had to face similar roads in those destinations mentioned and though they were sometimes daunting mostly they were managable. I'm talking cliffside single lane two way roads! I'll have a think, thanks!

Married in st Lucia way back in 93, stayed in a beachfront hotel on the Castries side of island, stayed mainly on the resort,as was a fantastic place, private beach etc, but took boat trip to soufriere, was a Sunday,as I remember the local kids all dressed in thier Best clothes, for church apparently, and very Smart they were too! Visited the pitons and went to the volcano, visited Rodney bay , dined out a couple of time's all in all loved the place and had a fantastic stay, but really didn't have to do much other than lounge on the beautiful beach soaking up the July sunshine , and take advantage of activities such as jet skis,scuba diving,water ski volleyball,tennis courts, jacuzzi,pool, drink and eat Rather excessively lol it was all inclusive ( even down to cigarettes!! Something I'd never experienced before or since 😁) I also remember the roads weren't the best,some big old holes on them hills lol
While your video is excellent in many respects, for the value of viewers, I respectfully correct you on some points. I am a St. Lucian who lives in Canada but who owns a property at the southern end of Reduit Beach. In fact, as I write I am sitting two minutes walk from the sand and water. First of all, Result Beach is certainly NOT congested, ever! Perhaps you visited briefly probably near Spinnakers Restaurant on a day of a cruise ship call. Pigeon Point does not touch the Atlantic. It is entirely on the Caribbean side as it is on our West coast. Cas en Bas Beach is a beautiful and safe sheltered beach on our North-east coast facing the Atlantic and one of the very few with safe bathing on the Atlantic side. There is no "r" in Castries, sorry. I hope that you accept my constructive criticism on your excellent work which is only designed to enhance it for the value of other viewers. Roger

It’s pronounced Saint Lusha, not Loo-see-a like you kept saying in the video…after visiting there you would think you learned the proper pronunciation especially for an educated doctor??
