@@issabeganovic8822 What I mean is that SP's track samples the original (in addition to the audio manipulations), while this just does the audio manipulates. So the video title could've been just "Pillow Talk vaporware" or something.
Not calling myself "artist" of the year or anything, just stating my own opinion, because "Lustt - Pillow Talk (Chopped and Screwed)" doesn't sound even close as good. Also, nice to hear it.
This one actually has the full lyrics, so you actually know what the original song says, as opposed to the private caller one which is annoying because the lyrics are blatantly cut off (I.e. friends are about to-music)

It's a synth that was sped up an octave. The original track (Pillow Talk by Lustt) is from 1983. The original track (Pillow Talk) is in D major. This slightly slowed down version of Pillow Talk in this video is in B flat major (Private Caller is also in B flat major). When Lustt recorded Pillow Talk in 1983, the intro was recorded in D major. Then they sped it up by 50% (an octave), resulting in it sounding high pitched and very fast (but still in D major). This is what you hear on the final recording. To hear the intro to Pillow Talk the way it originally sounded before Lustt sped it up for the final recording, download the original track by Lustt (It's on youtube about 5:11 long). Then use the program Audacity and change the SPEED percentage to -50.000. This allows you to hear the keyboard intro the way it was recorded before it was sped up for the final recording.

There's a thing with private caller where there are some intentionally misplaced extra beats and that's just beautiful but this is very beautiful too. Why can't you let beauty flourish?
this sounds awful as an "improvement". it's missing the reverb, the vocal chops, the heavy eq bass, and the phaser effects. it's missing what made the song good and it didn't add anything new so it just feels hollow
