This is really wonderful. Is the overhand thing just because the saw is really long for range? Or is it a technique for another reason?

I play my smaller saws that way too, I just find it easier.

i see there aren't any blades on your saw is it specially made to be played musically or did you simply file down the teeth?

There are teeth, they're just very small and not sharpened. This saw was made for playing, though.
